  1. Artic p12 or p14 go head to head with noctua fan at much cheaper price. Another favorite option is the mp fans from phanteks.
  2. Xmp profiles don't always work.. but you can try Entering all the values yourself Updating bios Updating chipset driver Or use a different kit all together
  3. Not without violation of term and conditions with steam/valve.
  4. First I'd dbl check the gpu in another build. But upgrading to a 1080 ti is still a great upgrade and a noticeable improvement.
  5. You can use sp, ll, ql, hd and ml with the core. And if you need to connect more rgb to the core you can use https://www.corsair.com/us/en/Categories/Products/Custom-Cooling/Accessories/CORSAIR-RGB-Fan-LED-Hub/p/CO-8950020 Simply plug it in to the core.
  6. A different gpu is definitely worth investigating. If it is the gpu I would say that's ok as a gtx 1050 ti underwhelming anyways.
  7. You should probably try resetting cmos Turn off switch on psu Unplug the system remove the Battery from the mother Hold down the power button on the case for 30 seconds Reinstall the battery Plug in Turn psu switch on Try turning on system I'd also recommend doing this as barebone as possible So before you turn on the system Use only 1 stick of ram No gpu And unplug any storage(ssd/hdd)from the motherboard
  8. Have you tried a different kit of ram? First gen ryzen cpu doesn't always play nice with all types of ram.
  9. You can try to press fn+tab then exit then go into bios again and advanced settings maybe there. Or set a supervisor password, save and reboot, enter the bios
  10. First of this sounds like a positive quote Second it's apparent that you don't know that windows automatically push out drivers and driver update from said manufacturer based on hardware detection. So if it detects amd it will push out amd drivers. If it see nvidia it will push out nvidia driver. Sometimes they are not the vary latest as stability is a greater concern. The biggest difference is the features that you get from a direct download
  11. It might not be an option in the lower slots
  12. Agreed The air cooler is better. 120mm aio should only be used in special use case like certain sff builds.
  13. You could try an older driver version. I'd also recommend using ddu to uninstall your gpu driver. You could also just run with defualt windows driver
  14. Make sure to do a clean install with a newly made USB boot drive
  15. I'd check the BIOS I think there maybe a feature to disable so the system won't even try to talk to the dgpu Or get an actual heat gun and try heating again you might be able to bring it back to life
  16. Laptop bios's are usually very limited, but you might be able to tell not to check/ recognize for the gpu. What model laptop is it?
  17. Try Bios update Fresh windows install Are you using an ssd? What model ram and what frequency, timings, and voltage do you have your kit set to?
  18. The case works better with negative pressure anywas. So rear mounted aio is fine.
  19. You just roll them and put them like an ear plug. But you can always use your favorite tips instead.
  20. Do you know the model of the case? Yes deshrouding the gpu and using some case fans work very well. I have done this multiple times with excellent results every time. Here's a pic of a 1070 mini with 2x 120mm fans strapped to it. You also don't need to buy such high end fans. Just get some arctic p series fans. 120 or smaller whatever size you want will be fine.
  21. It's also a very good choice just may not be a quiet @ 100% pump speed.
