  1. Hey all. So I got a buddy of mine a new Ryzen 2600 and the MSI X470 Gaming Plus. So he went and got himself the Corsair Vengence Pro RGB 2x8 kit at 3200 MHz and is having a weird issue with it. First of all, you have to run it in dual channel for it to even post... It refuses to run in single channel. I have tried every slot combination that you can do with one or 2 DIMMs. But only runs in dual channel mode. It clocks all the way up into 3200MHz but for some reason, Windows only says that 7.95GB is usable out of the whole 16GB. In the task manager, it says that 8.1GB is system reserved.. I have updated to the latest BIOS that MSI has on their website. Even exchanged the RAM for a different kit. I am not sure what I am doing wrong. Ideas? Thank you so much for the help.
  2. I am personally a big fan of the fact that it comes with a single 8gb stick of ram that allows one to upgrade to 16gb without having to purchase a 16gb kit. Plus the processor and GTX GPU is great for using Adobe After Effects with its new ray-tracing feature introduced in CS6.
