I scrolled down to see the list of notifications and held down on the one from sun news. I got a menu similar to in your picture with a sliding blue thing I could use to turn off notifications!! Thank you so much, I can suddenly turn off any type of notifications I want!

Hi. I have a Samsung S6 Edge. For the past 3 months or so I have been getting 10-20 notifications per day with news articles from the sun (a website called "the sun news"). If I click the notification I go directly to their website and can read the news article. I dont have an account and I dont pay for the sun news. The Sun is a British tabloid newspaper, and I live in Norway, Most of the news are not that interesting anyways. It sounds like I get a text message or a facebook update 10-20 times a day and its only news I dont want to read. I have looked through notification settings and I dont know witch app is doing this,, what app can I disable notifications from?`or how do I stop this?

I dont like the strict way the phones lock you out of your device if you forget your email, password, username and phone number. I have tried to help friends and family get into their phones and its also a problem when you loose/break your phone and buy a new device. Its almost impossible to sign into and start using the phone for many people. My mother has had her Nokia Android phone for 2 years and is still unable to download apps without a user, she uses the apps it came with and calls/texts.

1. Can a local administrator account and a Microsoft account merge together and become one? So you can be local administrator and have access to windows app store and such things. Never used a windows account to login to windows before. 2. Are there any benefits when you log into the computer with a Microsoft account, compared to just using a local admin account on windows 10? 3. How does Microsoft App Store work? Do you guys use it to download programs instead of using chrome and downloading the the old way? 4. Will the computer update to windows 11 automatic and is this good for gaming? If its the case, are there any way to prevent it? Hello. I just got a very unique update to my computer. I had to create a windows account and it asked me to buy office 365, Onedrive and advertised that I could use my android phone (call, text ect) via my computer. It had a whole "setup" like if I just installed windows for the first time. I was even sent a vertification 4 digit code to my email after I typed in my email and password for my new microsoft account. I have had windows 10 since it became free to upgrade from windows 7 (around 2016?). I have never reinstalled it because I have lost my serial key and CD too. I have asked support and they said I had to install windows 7 and upgrade if I wanted to use the old serial key. The "windows About page" still says that I have windows 10 Pro.. Its not windows 11 yet. I have never used my windows account to login to a computer before, I have always used local admin without a password on my pc. I have never used the "app store" in windows yet. After the update I still had my old programs and my old local admin, but there was listed a email linked to the local admin user. Why is the email listed on this screen? Do you have a email linked with your local admin account? Thanks for any advice,

I have a very smart car charger. It detects if its charging a 6 volt or 12 volt battery and it has a frost mode and it can trickle charge the battery when its full to keep it at max charge. Its fully automatic. The charger doesnt speak to the car at all, the battery can be inside the shed and be charged without being connected to the car itself too.

I never had money to replace a whole computer at once. All the parts of my computer are different years but the oldest part of my computer is a cpu from 2012,(amd fx8350). and the newest part of my computer is the graphics card from holiday 2016 (Geforce GTX1070). I bought my computer in 2008 and changed all the parts one or two parts every year since. I stopped buying computer parts in 2017 since I spend my money on other stuff instead. I hope I can play Baldurs gate 3 on it too when it is released. What do you think of my computer? Any recomendations?

My phone gets very hot to the touch after I did a speed test 3 times in a row.. I got 38Mbit/s with wifi turned on (55Mbit/s upload). I get 99Mbit/s and 101Mbit/s on my computer on the same fiber connection. Then I got 37-39Mbit/s without wifi turned off (did 2 tests). I used bredbandskollen to test the speed. I did have spotify playing on the phone while testing tho. I cannot see a plus sign next to LTE but I have "Vo))" above LTE. (near the top of the screen) Thank you for all your advice! I think Ill stick to my current payment plan and save money. I have used between 2gb and 4.5gb of data per month the past year and I get a discounted price on my current plan.

Hi. I have a Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge that is about 5-6 years old. I try to save money by having a cheap Phone bill each month. I have a 5 Gigabyte plan that cost $21.50 USD, I only havve 4G speeds on the current plan. I have been offered a new 5G subscription by a different phone company. It has faster speeds and I wonder what the advantages are on a older phone that only support 4G? Does 5G have other advantages that is not related to speed? Should I go down to a 3GB plan with 5G speed, or stick to a 5GB plan with 4G speeds?

my uncle has a small laptop with touch screen. He's screen flickers and programs open and close and it sometimes opens links and click on videos by itself while on youtube. Its like he has someone else controlling the computer. Its just dust, dirt, ash and tobacco all over the screen and keyboard. I have removed the hackers with a cloth and some washing spray... 3 times now and they keep coming back. (he doesnt seem to understand that the dirt causes it)

A year or who ago I had multiple/many 30+ minute ads on youtube. I even had a 2 hour long advert. But they where skippable. AND it remembered where I was.. So every time a advert came up it was just a continue of the previous ad that I clicked skip on whenever I was ready to start watching. I think it was a good system. the adverts became like videos spilt into many parts sort of.

Hi. The youtube ads are too short in my opinion. I try to use the toilet, make coffee or grab a snack and every time I miss the first minute or two of the video I was going to watch. I cannot go to the toilet for 5-10 seconds every 5 minutes. I need 10 seconds just to walk to the toilet. I dont have my computer with me on the toilet. Do you go on toilet that fast and that often? How do you use the advertising breaks on YT?

I think he expects the phone to understand that the screen should only go black when needed. Its not neccecary when he holds his finger over the sensor while typing with the other hand. He cant manage to type when the screen is black. I tried it and I cant type anything while the screen is black too. So its not working for him like he wants. He does not hold the phone up to the ear while typing. Does the newer iphones understand the difference between a hand/finger and a ear/cheek?

My uncle does not understand that its supposed to happen, he things there is something wrong with the phone. He asks me if I can try and repair it often when I come over. I dont know how to explain it to him.
