  1. Hi, I've got a fresh build up and running but I see the motherboard is showing a Q-code 56 which suggests "invalid CPU speed or type." Not sure what's going on here. The system boots fine. Any suggestions? Specs: Asus Crosshair VI Hero AMD Ryzen 1800X Thermaltake Riing 3.0 360mm AIO cooler 2x 8GB DDR-2666 Corsair Dominator Platnium 500GB Samsung 850 EVO m.2 SSD EVGA GTX780Ti (soon a couple 1080Ti, promise) Seasonic 1200w Platinum
  2. Hi, I have a Thermaltake Riing 3.0 360mm AIO cooler, freshly installed and can't get the pump running higher than 1800 rpm. It's rated for 3600 rpm. I've tried all the headers available on the motherboard, the one labeled "AIO_PUMP" being the one that gives the highest speed. Can't seem to get it going faster. Motherboard is an Asus Crosshair VI Hero. Edit: since it may be asked, pump is a 3 pin header, set to DC in BIOS which defaults to a 100% fan curve. Could the motherboard just not be providing the full 12v?
  3. In the thinking that it's too powerful for what I do, my machine didn't make sense. Now that I stream, it's practical. I suppose to 850W PSU running 2x 780Ti and a 4690K is a little nonsensical, needs to be bigger, can't get much of an OC out of the CPU since adding the second GPU.
  4. Redtube has been free and available everywhere for a long time. Was it banned in Australia?
  5. Is your copy of Windows 10 genuine? Call them if it's an issue, basic level support should be able to resolve this.
  6. Dad probably. He's got some i7 business grade laptop and a surface pro 4.
  7. Whatever you read was wrong. They are two completely different ways of tackling the same end result.
  8. How so, not everyone has a need/want for reddit. The only reason I found out about it is the same reason I know of 4chan, a shitload of infamy.
  9. Basically, I want a second keyboard/pad (of some kind) that doesn't use binds that are already on my existing hardware so I can use it solely for operating streaming software (OBS in this case). Using macros simply isn't good enough as they either end up conflicting with either the games or streaming software (or Windows itself >.>). What I need is something that when plugged in, is recognized as a unique input device. I realise that plugging in two keyboards wouldn't work which is why devices like the G13 and Nostromo are no good for me. Like as an example, my HOTAS each have like, 24 or so unique keys. Windows recognizes them as unique keys, does a simple keypad with the same tech not exist?
  10. Except as far as I'm aware, they're bound to existing keys, you can't create new keys for them.
  11. Put the Fermi away and calm down a bit. The cards are still good, just not as good as they should be.
  12. Heyoo, Just wondering if something like a Razer Nostromo / Logitech G13 exists that Windows can detect as unique keys instead of remapping existing keys on the keyboard without making macros and stuff. Or, if I got one of those additional keypad thingies, could I give them unique binds instead of being forced to macro or mimic the keyboard?
  13. Sitting here with SLI 780Ti, waiting for nvidia to gimp them to hell with a "buy a new videocard!" driver update.
  14. Were you not on AustraliaNet ™ I'd suggest using it to stream with a capture card in it.
  15. Try reinstalling audio drivers, worked for my roommate who has a modmic. I don't really get the appeal of them (other than the whole, compact thing), they sound garbage.
  16. I guess I'm never going to get rid of my Z3 then...
  17. Mine has always been like this ever since I first used it. I just got this one from their main page: https://gaming.msi.com/features/afterburner http://download.msi.com/uti_exe/vga/MSIAfterburnerSetup.zip
