Alterlai got a reaction from Reem1kTechTips in What's Your Favourite Password Manager?
You can store it in the cloud for synchronization across devices.
You can backup the database periodically.
The thing about remembering passwords is that people choose passwords that are either insufficient in complexity, or re-use passwords in mulitple locations. This also creates a single point of failure. It would be impossible to have a unique and strong password on every single site and be able to remember all of them.

Alterlai reacted to zwirek2201 in Slight Problem with PHP/CSS/divs
It's been a while since I developed a website, but the ")" seems to be coming from your scripts.php file, so check that one.
When it comes to the divs, you can set their display to be inline-block and then in the wrapper set text-align to center.
Example:

Alterlai got a reaction from FosterGuy in CSGO Smurf
It saddens me to see the community of CS nowadays. Back in 2013 people used to be very helpful and supportive when playing matchmaking, however it took a turn for the worse. I recommend you try to find a group of people to play with regularly as the community is so enormously toxic.

Alterlai reacted to cynexit in Need some help with pagination
If it is not too much data, simply output one big <table> and then use datatables on it like in this "zero configuration exmaple":
https://www.datatables.net/examples/basic_init/zero_configuration.html
If there are to many demos and the table would become to big to load it in one big request simply use "bServerSide": true and "sAjaxSource": "/URL/TO/DYNAMIC/PHP/SCRIPT/".

Alterlai got a reaction from omniomi in PHP running a script in the background
PHP will only continue loading the page once the script is done running. So basically if your script is running something permanent, the page will wait permanently for the script to finish.
I still have the same issue. Unfortunately I don't know anything about AJAX so i wasn't able to fix it.
Hopefully this little ammount of info will help you along the way though

Alterlai got a reaction from MVC902 in About running GTA V.....
I would never recommend gaming on integrated graphics. However, if you have no other choice you can check it on this website here: http://www.systemrequirementslab.com/cyri
In my opinion (you might not agree), the best way to truely know for sure is to pirate the game, see how it runs and buy it afterwards.

Alterlai reacted to deathjester in How is FarCry 4 Optimization?
ATM you have two options. Locking a 30 with Nvidia control panel/half vsync/tripple buffer and a 30 FPS limit in Riva Tuner and making the game just look stunning or...
Editing the ini (gamerprofile.XML) taking off MIP mapping and taking a texture hit on some objects. I prefer the first option since I can make it look really freaking pretty at 30 fps and I could care less about multi player in Far Cry.
Other than that? Game is not gonna run smooth for anyone unless they turn textures and settings down lower than what the xml edit does.
This game will stutter on a GTX 980 Ultra + with a 4790k at 4.8ghz. Reason? One core is being maxed out and you get a major downswing in fps, which can be "fixed" by the two options I mentioned. Watch Dogs never got really fixed. AC Unity is not fixed on CPU, so I am going to take a wild stab and say neither will Far Cry 4.
Now if you can deal with the two options I mentioned? Game isn't bad. I have no problem with a SMOOTH 30 FPS in a non multiplayer game, the thing is most people don't know how to do it and a non synced 30 FPS looks like crap.
Long story short? Still better than the console version on your pc. Now if you had an older non Sandy CPU and a 650 ti or something? I don't know if I would bother.

I explained to him the only way a cpu would every break is either: Overvolting, Overheating or physical damage by breaking pins.
But he was still unsure.
