  1. Thanks, I was looking at the Devastator for awhile, didn't know if anyone would actually suggest it.
  2. Hi, I'm building a system for my brother and am looking for a relatively cheap, backlit keyboard. I'm looking around the 40$ range, not hoping to go any higher than that. At that price point, I know mechanical keyboards are out of the picture, and I'm alright with that. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
  3. I would highly recommend the Define R4. It has cable management, stock fans that aren't terrible and are quite quiet, even at 12v. You can remove the sound dampening foam on the side of the case, and the top 2 120-140mm slots on the top of the case. It has dust filters for bottom, and front that you can usually get to pretty easily. I've been using the Define R4 for about 6 months now and it has been quite and keeps my system reasonably cool (Never gets above 65 C) Don't know too much about the Enthoo Pro, I've seen Linus' review of it, and it looks like a really solid case also.
  4. Hi, I'm building a computer for my brother and need some help deciding how much watts I will really need on his system. NOTE: I do not plan on overclocking the system at all. -AMD FX-6300 -R9 270X (PowerColor PCS+) -Generic DVD/CD Writer -8gb of RAM -1 TB hard drive (Barracuda from Seagate) On PCPartPicker it says that the estimated amount I'll need is 385w, but I've heard of the 270X using up to 240w and I'm not sure if I should go with 500 or 600 watts. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
  5. I was thinking that, just watched Linus' review of it, and read the JohnyGuru review on it. Seems like a solid power supply, thanks.
  6. Looking in the 430-500 watt range. Don't need any more power, and pretty much 430w is the lowest wattage with 80+ efficiency I've seen. Considering the most watts the system would pull would be 200-250 watts.
  7. Hey guys, I'm looking for PSU for a fairly low end system (AMD APU) and need a 430w, 80+ Certified PSU. Any help would be greatly appreciated
  8. Thanks a ton man, I have a mATX FM2 motherboard from Gigabyte: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16813128571&nm_mc=AFC-C8Junction&cm_mmc=AFC-C8Junction-_-na-_-na-_-na&cm_sp=&AID=10446076&PID=3938566&SID=
  9. I got the SteelSeries Siberia V2 on eBay from China for 30 USD. Really nice sounding (for a headset) IMO. After about of week of use, I can hear myself through the mic when I turn it up to about ~75% volume. Mic quality is actually not too bad, everybody in game lobbies could hear me without complaining about sound quality. All in all, very good for 30$, and for 80$, they're okay.
  10. I've had this problem with my SteelSeries Siberia V2's, haven't found a solution even with looking at Multiple Audio Programs (including Windows) for a few hours.
  11. Hey guys, I'm building a system for one of my mates and chose to go the APU route. Anyway, I watched Linus' APU Build and saw that he oriented the Cooler to (what I think) was to push air out of the top of the case. Kind of a stupid question but just to be safe, would I be able to orient the cooler (vertically) pushing air out of the back of the case? I also am wondering if my RAM heatsink would be in the way of the T4. Thanks for taking the time to help me out here's some links to Case, Cooler, and RAM. 12. I've been looking at those, look like really solid headphones. Thanks for the suggestion
  13. Thanks for the suggestions guys, I got the SteelSeries Siberia V2 a few days ago for 89.99 USD, then today the mic breaks. really hard to go back to SteelSeries products with that.
  14. @mr moose Closed, I might listen to music once and awhile, but mostly use for gaming. Not a noisy environment at all, thankfully.
  15. Thanks, I've used a Cherry MX Red Switch Mechanical Keyboard before at a mates house, What's the difference between a Red and a Blue switch?
