  1. check to see if the patriot fuel is available anywhere near you then. I mean, just go to a local tech store and ask for a powerbank, they mostly should be the same honestly.
  2. "sexist idiot" Where did you get that from? I haven't read a ton of his stuff, but what i have read, i enjoyed.
  3. Does anybody have anything cool to share that they made? I wrote a lot of code on this: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.jganalytics.menufind I am not the on who put it on the store though.
  4. Good points, i'm sure codeacademy can be good for getting started, but it most definitly does not teach you how to code. I really like this article on the subject of learning how to code, check it out: http://blog.codinghorror.com/please-dont-learn-to-code/
  5. It is so much easier to work with Django and Python in Linux. Some Python packages won't install on Windows or fail to do so without tons of errors. Python should be worked with on linux, it's just what i would recommend though. I think sites like Codeacademy have the opposite effect of what they advertise. They only show the boring part of programming. Writing code IS boring and indeed not "that" hard. The fun part about programming is finding a way to systematically solve a problem or rather have a computer solve it for you. Code training sites just spoon feed you the documentation that's already available and aren't practical if you actually want to code. There's already a tool for that called an API. It's cool to learn the guitar by jamming some of your favorite songs but it doesn't teach you any music theory or how to compose music.
  6. Set up a linux machine and start coding python. Codeacademy is only good for seeing how programming works, it honestly won't teach you jack shit..
  7. Request to add an Android resource list, and add SlideNerds channel. It's basically the only youtube channel that covers "advanced" android concepts well https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCbP2HeYGC3kfHjHLMPplZuQ
  8. This at the moment would be very hard to do, as WhatsApp dosn't even have a API. But give it a try, you might find a way to do it.
  9. don't worry about repeating someone, it just helps me see what people want. But this is a great idea, and definitly something i will look into! Very well explained
  10. very cool, i really like the idea of a easy way to see compatibility and orientation! very cool, this is definitly something i will look into implementing. This was also this i was thinking, i really agree with you. So i will most likely do it this way, i will probably make a post in the forum to get some feedback on the interface!
  11. how much does this vary on a build by build basis? because i'm mostly interrested info that is broad and is relavant to all builds. Good idea though, i will write it up!
  12. yes, unfortunately i only have to ability to develop for android at the moment. I will make sure to post it here when it's finished of course. If it is popular, there could of course come a IOS version.
  13. cool, i like the checklist idea. That would be smart, i would like as much input from people who build a lot of computers as possible! Since i have only build one, i'm more of a software guy.
  14. brilliant, it was absolutely something like this i was thinking. Very cool to hear someone who also thinks it would be smart! I very much agree with the, not to much text, no long videos etc.
  15. not necessarily, more simpler handbook that has the core elements that applies to pc building, but i am open to all ideas. that's why i made this thread
