  1. And it's working! New problem, I now have everything on my HDD and its my F drive. Can I not access anything on it? Any way I can reformat it?
  2. I did not, no. Is that a bad thing?
  3. I tried installing Windows 8 to my ssd by booting from an optical drive. Worked no problem, but it didn't detect my ssd. Knew this was a common problem do I rebooted and changed my boot order to my HDD and went to reformat my drive. Now its saying it can't boot and is doing system diagnoses. It says to reboot and when I do it goes back to the diagnosis which tells me to reboot. Its a twisted cycle of perpetual frustration. What do?
  4. I have a 2tb wester digital black drive. If i Do a fresh install, is there any way to save my data? Or to just re install the OS on the SSD and move the program files to the SSD? Or will I have to take the time to reinstall every single program again (GW2 and Star Citizen take a while)
  5. bought an intel 530 SSD, and want to transfer windows and maybe one or two games over to it. The intel software that im supposed to use is only good for cloning, and wont let me pick a source drive that has more data than my 120 GB ssd. Question for you is, What software should I use to move windows and maybe one or two games to my new INTEL 120 GB SSD any help is appreciated, and I hope to get those 10 second boots soon!
  6. yeah, I can run most of my games at ultra with physX and high AA at 144. V-sync is capping it, but my Counters strike GO (not the most demanding, i know) gets about 300 because V-sync isn't working with mine. I still believe the SSD owners in that it'll make a big impact on my system's speed and responsivness. And it's not like im getting one or the other, Im gettting one first and the other in about a month or so.
  7. definitely after my next purchace. Just wanted to know which to get first
  8. Thank you, I think it'll definitely help keep my system balanced in terms of speed.
  9. Well, I already max out my monitors capable frames (144) i think the SSD is more important given that it helps with boot times (do a lot of bios tweaking) and when modding, a faster boot time would be lovely. And I can hold out on content creation for a while, wasn't planning on starting till this summer anyway, then I'll really need a cooler
  10. Current Rig: i5 4690k with stock cooling Asus Sabertooth z97 mark 2 8GB Corsair vengence RAM EVGA GTX 780 classified 2 tb HDD all in a Corsair Vengeance C70 I have about $100 to spend (give or take $20) and cant decide what to get. Im thinking either a CPU cooler, because my processor is unlocked, or an SSD. My Games boot in about 7-10 seconds already and my OS takes about 10-15, but people keep saying the SSD makes for a much better upgrade . With my current hardware and budget, what do you suggest I get? I also only have about 35 gigs of my hard drive occcupied right now so most of my games and OS could fit happily on a small little SSD. The 2tb ssd is for longevity and because I want to start doing some content creation
  11. Like the classy color scheme with the subtle yet badass red on the sides.
