Is there a model of a laptop (asus, lenovo, anything else) that has no touchpad (a useless device imho)? I'd buy one

note, a mouse can be plugged and everything can be navigated with a keyboard in worst case scenario.

Well ok yeah, I just have low self trust... pet is what I stated, as I was trying to figure out what is polyester about a week ago. PET stands for something polyethe%$^$#^#, dont remember. used to make plastic bottles and then we recycle them to make polyester and clothes. frieky stuff... it is also labeled.

Sounds like Germany needs some freedom

But really, is she intentionally being thick or what? Have they not been paying attention (or even caring) about the issues we've had on this side of the Atlantic? How much are the ISPs paying her on this one? Should be an outrageous amount, given how Germany is already pretty well off. I can't wait to hear the rationalizing for supporting fast lanes.

Oh Merkel, driverless cars don't need fast lanes. Not really. Driverless cars need high powered 360 degree sonar and radar arrays to map their environment and perhaps a data uplink to a mapping service like Google, Maquest, Navteq (and others) so that it can update and be updated in real time about traffic and other things. They also need incredibly smart coding and near AI levels of "thinking" to be able to react to their environment. But driverless cars don't need fast lanes to be created. How can I say that? Cause driverless cars already exist, many of them as standalone units that truly drive themselves. See cars like the new S Class, which in Europe (since Europe has no anti-Skynet legislation) allows for such cars to actually drive themselves already.

In other words, stop talking about things you don't understand and stop talking out of your ass on things that people will call you out on. Once again, how much money did she or the Government get for having this position and using such weak examples to back it?

    Caroline Elizabeth Sarah Norton (22 March 1808 – 15 June 1877) (England)

Her husband was brutally beating her up, because he hated cleverness in a woman. One time, he knocked her to the floor and kicked her. She was pregnant, she lost the baby.
Back then, the law allowed men to beat their wives ("with a stick, not thicker than his thumb"). What he was doing was not ok though, even by those laws. What was she to do? Go to court? A woman back then had no right in court, furthermore, a married woman didn't exist in law. Everything belonged to a husband. If she was to divorce him, then everything would be his, even children.
At one point after one scandal, he abandoned her. He took (STOLE) her children away from her (she had no right to them), and didn't allowed her to see them. When she came to visit them, the housemaid would not let her in.
All her income as a writer was processed directly to him (and he was keeping it!), by law he owned everything that she would earn. She had no money to buy food and was often starving.
She tried to fight the law, and the infant custody act was passed, allowing separated women to see their children. But after the act was passed, he took the children to his estate in Scotland.
For six years she barely saw her children. At one point, one of her sons fell of a horse and was injured. By the time she came to visit him, he was already dead and coffined. Only after that occasion, did the husband permitted her to visit her children (occasionally).
    There's some history for ya.

I need not say that you and I would want to murder a person that would have treated us like that. And we would have no law to defend us. But in the future when you would want to say feminist this and feminist that, learn your history please.

I swear every time I hear someone using the word "feminism/st" with intent of abuse, the only thing I hear is a word "lowlife" (and I bet that is what you want to say yourself when you do say it). The same thing that was used for black people - lowlife. Anti racism, feminism, same roots. And people that are feminists now, are just hurt people that actually have rights.

And YES I get it that it was stupid of them to make such claims, women violence in games... But please stop using keen "feminism" remarks / smirks if you know nothing about it. Don't repeat after everybody around you!

To be honest, I don't necessarily agree with the level and context of some of the violence in games like this. The fact of the matter is; these games exist. They are being made and sold in stores and online. They contain a rating system and it should be the responsibility of the parents to regulate what their children are allowed to play and be exposed to, if they are underage. Plain and simple. Aside from that, many have already said; there is plenty of evidence/studies that prove violent video games do not create criminals or violent individuals.

Now here's my beef; Why is it only an issue because the game allows for violent acts towards women, and yet not an issue that it allows for (just as) violent acts towards men? Senseless violence against any human being is wrong, regardless if the victim is male or female. So why the special pleading/treatment/fuss as if violence against women is somehow more wrong or worse than violence against men? There are plenty of games that have/show pretty grotesque violence against men. In Sniper Elite 3 you can blow the nuts off an enemy. Should we pull that game from stores too, because it "promotes violence" against men?

Just to be clear, I think it's absolutely horrible the way women used to be treated and viewed by society and I'm 110% for equal rights in that regard.

Not sure I have a specific point to make with this post, more just sharing my thoughts FWIW...

HermanT got a reaction from Sharif in Asus comes with a GeForce GTX 970 DirectCU Mini
Asus has also built a Mini-ITX GTX 970 graphics card, and it looks surprisingly familiar.

Naturally, being a wee bit late, the company seemingly felt the need to build a more powerful card. Thanks to the 145 W TDP of a reference GT 970, and the decent DirectCU Mini cooler, Asus has clocked its card at 1088 MHz, with a Boost clock of 1228 MHz.
Note that the reference GTX 970 cards run at 1050 MHz and Boost at 1178 MHz. The 4 GB of memory on the card remains at reference frequencies, running at 7.0 GHz over a 256-bit memory interface. Overall, it's not much of an overclock, but it is enough to show that Asus has faith in this hamburger-sized graphics card.

yeah I agree with you. Over simplified the skill tree. It was good to see that they made more skills from other trees available to you irrelevant to what tree you choose, but they way oversimplified it. Lack of choice.
I liked that they moved more general rotation skills to lower levels, meaning starting at lvl 20 you can do ok pvp, unlike before, when you had to go to max lvl to open key skills...

yeah, there are a lot of hardware stores, but its not like you can order right from them... theres a handy site in Estonia that shows you pretty much all that is available from resellers around the country... the only thing in custom watercooling here are a few EKWB cooling kits and thats it. There are all in one coolers though... Otherwise not a very pc geek country, I think custom loop will be a rarity amongst rarity here.

I checked ebay, think I will be able to order some hardware labs rads with little to no shipping (dont know about the customs though)... gonna check other brands later, and in depth...

    so thank you very much...

I'm currently deciding whether I should spend out and go with the build or not, making blueprints if you may... also hate my noisy system (be it the flexible case, that fans are mounted to, or the fans themselves)... gonna ask you more if I go through
