Hi guys! I am in a bit of a fickle at the moment! I need a new mobile powerhouse for work. I am a neuroscientist studying alzheimers disease, and am analysing massive images (5.6gb + that will be cashed on the RAM) and pixel intensity based analysis, and my old laptop with 4gb ram and intel hd4000 just isn't cutting it =P

SO, has anyone tried/checkout these laptops? or done a comparison before? or has any alternatives/recommendations. I am after power with portability (have a fair way to walk to work each day): 16gb ram is a must, would like a quad core like the i7-4700 at least... power efficiency isn't too important because most of the day I am plugged in! Also would I be better off going for the kepler architecture (GTX 870) or maxwell (GTX860)? Cheers, Andrew
