  1. I have tried the monitors with another computer and the PC with another monitor and no issues arrose. It's connected to the PC when it's not working as when the cables are unplugged it had a different message
  2. I have 2 Philips BDM3270 32 inch wqhd monitors that are being powered by a 2gb GTX 960. This is used solely for productivity and not gaming. The issues is that the GPU won't detect the monitors, or something (I'm not really sure), and no image will be displayed. The message "no video input" (paraphrasing) shows up not the not connected one. This happens very sparodically with no warning and then will fix itself without any explanation. Is this a GPU or monitor issue. And does anyone have any similar experiences/ solutions. Thanks
  3. just going to be 1080p and i won't be doing anything harsh on it like folding at home
  4. This is going to be my first build and i just wanted some thoughts on how this would perform and any improvements that are under the budget. 1. $1500 au (would like aprox 1300 - 400 so to leave money for peripherals as i already have some but would like a new keyboard but that is not a priority) 2. gaming and maybe some very light "workstation" 3. 1 maybe 2 monitors 4. as said in 1 the case i have is a preference, either that or the bitfenix prodigy. I do want it to be mini-itx and i am not planning on overclocking in any way. games that i will be playing; csgo and lol, maybe some others but that is what i use atm. has to last at least 5 years with decent performance and good reliability (I do plan on upgrading in the future)
  5. Mostly for gaming but i do plan on programming and maybe a bit of visual work as well http://www.pccasegear.com/sc/lE6 $2000au budget (australia) single monitor already have it as well as the peripherals just want someone who knows what they are doing to give me their opinion because this is the first time i have built a pc and i don't want to buy something stupid also i do plan on overclocking a little bit part list: i7 4790k msi Z97 gaming 7 (motherboard) kingston hyperX savage 2X8 2133Mhz Galax gtx 970 EXOC samsung 840 evo 250GB Seagate barracuda 2TB CM storm scout 2 Corsair RM 550W corsair H80i Thanks for anyones input
  6. pretty neat that the 900 series (970 especially) use heaps less power than their predecessors and their competition and yet are way more powerfull. also i can now just afford a build... bar the graphics card
  7. Found linus tech tips while link following on computer videos favorite series is your pc build guides which were not only very well done but were informative and a joy to watch I'd like to see you review some more peripherals (monitors included) especially QHD wich seem to be the best option at the moment favorite moment was when i first uncovered your channle and spent hours looking at new and old videos with my forehead stuck to the screen drinking it all in also id like to win the custom pc
  8. i love all the little details. like the backlit keyboard, ips screen (it really does make a difference) and for what i consider a great price as well
