  1. Sorry for the necro but I wanted to ask: What is the difference between the test Linus has done with the makey makey and the slowmo camera on the iPhone and the test done with the Leo Bodnar input lag device? Is it measuring two different things? Or is it measuring the same thing? I think maybe the makey makey test is measuring controller/mouse lag + display lag while the Leo Bodnar device is just display lag. Is this correct?
  2. Right now I'm rocking a SteelSeries QcK mousepad, a Sentey Cobalt Pro mechanical keyboard and a Dell USB optical mouse that came with my Dell Dimension 3000 when I bought it about 13 years ago. Let's hope I win the big price!
  3. Rocking a HD 7950 w/Boost, would love an upgrade.
  4. I really liked the shape of it and the cool mirror setup. That's a smart way to get such a big short-throw image!
  5. I would love this as a LAN party PC. So portable and yet so powerful!
  6. I've never heard of this company before but from the looks of it my favorite product is going to be the Dimora Mousepad. I've never seen such a fancy-looking mousepad in my life! Let's hope I win
  7. I finally have a mechanical keyboard but I'm still rocking the Dell USB optical mouse that came with my Dimension 2400 10 years ago so...I think it's time for an upgrade.
  8. I'm confused. What's with the rig on the BitFenix Shadow that's in the shot? P.S. Intel should totally support the network rendering project. That would be AWESOME. According to the diagram shown in the video, that was for the Storinator archive server, not for the two storage servers. Also according to this video, Ruskin runs Windows Home Server so I would venture a guess that Whonnock might be running some flavor of Windows Server as well.
  9. What you're describing is showing the average of the average FPS. And yes, that's what a chart labeled 'average FPS' should be showing, what I'm asking is if that's actually what LTT's charts are showing. The reason I ask this is because in the video for the R9 290 unboxing they threw up an FPS chart labeled 'Tomb Raider - Ultimate, 1080p' (which I assume means running Tomb Raider using the 'Ultimate' quality preset, which includes TressFX) and didn't really say if it was max FPS or average FPS. I'd like to know because in their chart the HD 7950 is listed as getting 70FPS, and my 7950 doesn't reach anywhere near an average of 70FPS, even when my OC matches the one they have on their doc. So I'm wanting to know if there's something wrong with my setup or if that's a list of an average taken from max FPS readings.
  10. Are the benchmarking results shown in LTT's videos an average of the average FPS or an average of the max FPS?

  12. I love the AMP! Extreme's awesome-looking cooler and I specially like the fact that it has LEDs. Here's to hoping I win! (Although I'll need to upgrade my PSU if I do lol)
  13. Damn, it looks like I'll have to shell out for a 280x if I expect to game at 1080p60 on most games. Thanks for the link brother!
