    azorGFX got a reaction from i_build_nanosuits in MSI R9 290 vs Zotac GTX 970?
    Well, it's not right now, but i just consider that after i'm done with all the upgrades i could waterdool my whole system, it's not the priority and by any means dealbreaker, just somethink that i thought about and i would like t know if i have this possibility.

    azorGFX got a reaction from kameshss in CX500M for 1055t + R9 290?
    Guys, don't forget that i own a 1055t. Even overdlocked (at stok voltages so impact on power consumption shouldn't be effected that much) it will still bottleneck the 290 to the point that it will run at around 60-70%, i can even lower its voltage and clock speed for now as they won't be used as much until i buy a better cpu. I know i have to upgrade my psu, i'm planning to put in this system another 290 and an FX 8350, i will need 800-1000w psu for that configuration, i recently (end of summer) bought that psu becouse the one i used was a noname peace of crap and i will upgrade it in the future, it just doesn't make sens to upgrade it first to 500, then to 650 and then to 800-1000 and i don't have the money to buy it now anyways, if i had more money i would buy GTX 970 and there would be no problem. Besides, the power consumption of 100% loaded 290 is ~ 254w and it will not work on the 100%, my cpu at 100% without oc pulls ~125w, i don't know how much with the oc but i always can disable it.

    Considering all this, will i be able to run my current PSU with the r9 290 for the next half year to a year until i get money for the 8350, another 290 and the psu?

    @kameshss:
    I was bored with the windows 7 and i don't like windows 8, for me w10 is pretty stable for now.
