  1. Congratulations LinusTech, what an amazing achievement. I just wanted to suggest (if possible) do you think that you could get NCIX to do this as well. Just an idea. Anyone else think it would be really awesome to have a lot of content from multiple people. i think its really sad how Youtube is sqeezing content creators but i think it would be really beneficial for all if we as subscribers could keep and support all of the channels we love. Just a thought.
  2. I can't believe that Puget is getting flack for making these kits. I remember seeing their setups when they first started making them back when i was in highschool. A mineral oil PC is something i have always wanted to put together but never went ahead with. I would love to build a setup and share it.
  3. I'd want to do all my gaming on it so an ultrabook wouldn't work. I'd like to use it for classes but I don't want to to sacrifice too much performance.
  4. This was kinda what I was thinking as well. The only thing that made me pause was the new Aorus 7. Thanks for all the advice so far.
  5. Hi everyone, I currently have a desktop and I love it but I am considering going back to a laptop soon for school. I used to have the Asus G75 back in the day and it was amazing, I also had the MSI GS70 which I felt didn't have as much power but offered the slim profile. I recently saw the new Aorus laptop which gave me some hope for slim gaming laptops but am still hesitant. Any thoughts about or advice would be awesome. Should I just get a brick laptop if I am concerned more about performance?
  6. So to jump right in I got the playstation monitor because it looked pretty nice it was an upgrade from my last monitor and I virtually got it free. I'm looking at the inputs on it but it only has 2 HDMI ports. I was kinda hoping to take advantage of the 120/ 240htz refresh rate on this so my question is if there is a way to get around the HDMI bottleneck. I was wondering if I could use both HDMI ports simultaneously or if anyone can confirm that HDMI 1.4b or 2.0 will support 1080p 120htz. Sorry for the longwinded post but I am hoping someone will have some advice. Thank you everyone.
  7. Just because the original selling price was so hi I thought I'd post that the LG 34UM95 is on sale at B&H Photo now until the 19th. It's $899. Free shipping no tax. The 34UM65 is also there too.
  8. My favorite thing about this laptop is simply the thin form factor. Razer's blade is awesome and I love the MSI GS70 that I had but I'm so happy that ASUS is finally getting into the game of thin gaming notebooks. By far my favorite brand and I hope they bring more stuff like this.
  9. Thanks. I know that getting Nvidia cards will let me use G sync but I don't care too much, I've always been an ATI person. All I really want is 1440p and 120hz and this is the only monitor that has both.
  10. Inspiron 1100, I threw that shit across the room.
  11. Ok so I bought the new LG ultrawide that is coming out but now I'm thinking about getting the Asus Swift instead. I am planning on getting either two R9 290X cards or the 295, will that be enough to drive this monitor? And then what would I need to run three of these monitors? I know that's crazy but I'm thinking about it. Thanks.
  12. You can't take away peoples rights just because of stupid or sick people. If guns were out of the picture then people would just use other methods to inflict harm to others.
  13. I saw that too but it looked like the same thing. Just a different brand.
