Thanks for the comment !!! Yes, I absolutely would have preferred nicer cables. The BeQuiet Power Pro 10 PSU is a really fantastic PSU.. It is, I have to say, a really well engineered piece of kit, and very much serves its purpose in remaining 'silent'. However, on the cable side, it would have been so nice to extend their engineering perfection to the ascetics of the supplied cables just for the sake of... completeness I guess.
I really didn't have too much time to plan in LEDs... many have mentioned its lacking in that department, so I'll happily take that on the chin
The 'K' version of the CPU didn't really interest me for the simple reason, I'm not using it to game on, even though you could probably OC it enough to see marginal benefits in over all performance, I don't fancy stressing the CPU for what I am using it for => (consistency is a must) . And unless Intel backs up on the claim next years 'Broadwell' will be compatible with the recent released x97 chipset, I will most definitely upgrade.
As for the apparent 'debatable' Titan Black, although my colleague has Crysis 3 and seems very keen to install it on this rig, I'm not currently using it to game on, just crunching numbers, of which it is churning out with absolute ease.. Am I happy with the results ? Absolutely ! I understand it's probably quite a niche product, but I seem to have found myself there !!
