  1. Hello everyone, I haven't been on this forum in a while. I recently bought a PS4 and I'm having as much fun as expected on it. I've been thinking about building a small pc so as to play last gen games like Skyrim and to play my current steam games in better quality. I used Logical increments Very Good as a reference, here is the basket http://www.ldlc.com/b-7f10019ceeb29cd6.html How could I make it cheaper or better Price/performance. This build is not for playing newer games. I want a pc capable of playing last gens games like Skyrim in very good conditions. Also is it WORTH it ? I have a ps4 and a ps3. I don't want to spend too much on it in case I don't use it much. Thank you in advance for any replies ^^
  2. Wow 1440p is expensive, this is the monitor I'm considering http://www.ldlc.com/fiche/PB00151327.html
  3. Thanks, that sounds like the better option.
  4. I was looking at Wide 1080p but most games don't support it from what I've seen. I see that I wouldn't utilize the full potential of 3 screens, I would do some college work on the computer but mostly just Internet and Microsoft Office. I could go 1440p with a 1080p on the side maybe in portrait.
  5. Triple 1440p would be too expensive for me. Plus I don't think the GPUs would appreicate it ^^ That also interests me alot, for certain games like Spelunky, play the game with a video on the side and when playing Skyrim fill the 3 screens
  6. Hello, I can't decide if I should get a single 1440p monitor for gaming or 3 1080p monitors. I like the idea of having the extra peripheral vision it sounds kinda immersive in games like Skyrim but I've heard that it can stretch the image and things don't always look very good. 1440p, from what I've read makes everything just look so much better, rounder and sharper, no need for AA. I would be running the whole thing on Crossfire R9 290s Post your experiences, pros and cons of each and personal preference Jack
  7. I love the look of it ! The aluminium with red features looks beautiful ! Signatures just add a bit of love to it
  8. And, what AMD processor could go with it seeing as they are cheaper ? Would she need a small graphics card or do they have on board graphics
  9. Would the motherboard want changing ? Could she benefit from miniAtx
  10. Hello, my friends mum wants to do some basic video editing on family videos that they've filmed with Sony Vegas. Here are her specs : Intel Core 2 Duo E7500 2.93GHz PSU : 300W Ram : 3Go Mobo : Intel G45/G43 Does anything need tweaking to make basic editing possible without too much trouble or slowdown. Thanks
  11. I don't really have a budget, I can just keep waiting until I have enough. France is correct Why not a Z97 and why not a regular Haswell ? What should be changed
  12. Hello, would this build be good for Eyefinity 3 screens ? Screen : 3x http://www.ldlc.com/fiche/PB00150585.html GPU : Crossfire 2x R9 290 Vapor-X CPU : i5 4670K Cooler : Cooler Master Hyper 212 Evo PSU : Season M12II-850 EVO 80PLUS BRONZE RAM : 8Go MOBO : MSI Z97-G43 I plan on buying 1 screen and 1 GPU and then upgrading to 3 screens and crossfire.
  13. Put it this way, I can get a 4670K if I want, I was just wondering if it would be better to go with AMD, so my budget is 200€
  14. Up until recently I thought that Intel was the only way to go for gaming, then I watched a few videos, saw the prices and, because I'm going with a AMD GPU, would it be more interesting to get an AMD CPU aswell ? I'm using this computer for gaming and surfing the web nothing else, no recording, no rendering, no animation creation etc... What would you advise Linus Brains ?
  15. Thank you for the answer, what are your specs to run the 3 monitors, and what is performance like ? How did you buy the screens ? Just one by one as you got the money ?
