If not remove the HD and do a re-installation from an iso on a USB stick on to the SSD. With the HD removed it can't be corrupted.

yeah, I sold the accord to my little brother. It still lives on, and he's loving it. I'm in construction, so a lowered car doesn't really have a place right now.

This is gonna be a meta post, but while I don't post much anymore I feel like its something I'd like to bring up. Since really I made my account I have been a poster in this thread, and prior to that active on the overclock.net auto thread. I generally think that tech forums so far have had great automotive communities that aren't narrowed down to one brand/make. It creates a melting pot of fans of different types of vehicles, brands, etc and usually aren't too elitist aside from a few shitters... myself included sometimes even in jest. Its also allowed me to step out of my comfort zone of essentially being a hard core GM nut hugger and dabbling with other brands I had preconceived notions about.
 
The various discussions weaving in and out of automotive culture within the community keeps things from getting too stale. That said, the ongoing trend of posting embedded videos without a goal of creating discussion feels like empty posting that can generally be status updates. The news section requires an opinion or statement attached to the article to be posted. Maybe the same thought could be applied to embedded posting within the thread.
 
Just something I observed and wanted to bring up in the community. I don't post everyday anymore, but I still try to read the thread as often as work/life allows. And I converse everyday with the people I've met here in discord.

I'm no wordsmith, but I tried to get my point across. 

Much better than the butt clenching first start and run into lift RPM after doing timing stuff on my 2ZZ, that's for sure.

I for one like doing ball joints at work. I get to use my bigass air hammer, big hammers, big pry bar, big air impact, and the ball joint press makes fun snapping sounds as they smoosh into place.

I hate ball joints. Always hard to remove, and always manage to tear the boot when removing.

little update on my part, the Accord is gone, I sold to my teenage brother who’s taking great care of it, and the Tundra now looks like this. 
 

 
all new suspension, wheels, 33” tires, 4.56 Tacoma gears, axles, donor bed, doors and fenders, topper, etc. running great as my daily. Just crossed over 250k.

There are legal definitions, but the BATFE (for some reason that I have yet to figure out) is allowed to arbitrarily interpret those definitions as it wishes, and occasionally changes it's mind on what may or may not be legal. 
 
Like how they recently reclassified bump stocks as machine guns, despite the fact that they aren't even guns, and don't come even close to the legal definition of a machine gun.

I still have the miata. Rebuilding the suspension on it (after I'll do interior and it'll basically be new car right?) I bought a cheap civic last year that's been nothing but trouble until recently. Waiting for the transmission input shaft bearing to explode or until I'm tired of it to replace with something much nicer. 

I've actually had a pretty good year all things considered. I'm really thankful.
