    Asus R9 290/I5 4460/8GB RAM/Windows 8.1
    Get around 60 most of the time on high/very high with the view distance turned down a bit.

    I bought a Acer K222HQL and although it has terrible viewing angles the and the glossy bits get dirty really easily the image looks nice.I don't have alot of experience as far as monitors go so don't take my word for it.

    A single 120MM CPU cooler like the CM120M/120V are nowhere near $120,they are around $50 (sometimes less) right now,and the price difference between me getting a 8320/990fx board and me getting a 4690K and a z87/z97 board is about $110

    Basically there isn't that much of a difference between x16 x16 and x16 x4.
