Yep, this is what I did when I described reverting it fixed the stutter issues but I'll mark that as answer for posterity since that is what ultimately solved the issue.

    Thanks everyone!

You should be able to roll back to the previous version of Windows 10.

Did you try downloading the latest sound chip drivers and GPU drivers, then uninstalling your graphics card drivers in full, then sound chip. Then install them both. In the case of Nvidia GPUs, check the box under Advanced/Expert that says to do a clean install.

Restart and see if your problem is fixed

my general checklist for issues after a build update:
    - make sure there's no updates still pending
    - uninstall and reinstall GPU driver
    - open cmd as admin and run "sfc /scannow" -- if that finds stuff, reboot and run it again until it doesnt, if it finds stuff it cant fix run "dism /online /cleanup-image /restorehealth"
    - run disk cleanup, for good measure

and depending on the flavour of shitty audio driver your board needs, it may be interesting to reinstall that as well.. partiularly true for laptops with conexant audio drivers..
EDIT: oh, and bios update for good measure..

Lots of reported issues with 2004 update, Jerry (Barnacules Nerdgasm on the youtubes) was talking about them around the 20 minute mark of the last tech talk

    Hi Zeferinix!
Ya, it's been a very long while. A lot happened here so I could not log in and update you on what I was upto in the meanwhile!
But first, your set up looks absolutely great! Good to know that you could sync them up with mystic light! This converter seems to be a GEM for those without A-RGB mobo header! Thank you for the update!

I was also very keen to buy these 4 fans from Gamdias but had a very different change of plans later on. I instead bought the Cooler Master MF120R fan (single) for rear exhaust and bought a CM ML240R liquid cooler for CPU. So, my set up for cooling is different. This one came with a controller so dealing with that right now.

I really wanned to buy the Gamdias M2-240R but its fan speeds can't be controlled via pwm (based on temperature of CPU). That bugged me for a few days so I just thought "Oh what the hell! I want radiator fan speeds to change based on cpu temp!" So I got the cooler master. The gamdias is great too but I felt that changing a radiator fan speed with remote may not be the best idea during variable cpu loads!

So ya, that was my update! Really sorry for the late reply though! It took some time to actually buy a casing which arrived in my country late! That was the main reason for the hold up.

    Regards!

Very well could be a B now you've said it, is it as hard to make out in real life as it is on the picture?
Could be either of them, but if there's no result for it with an R, safe to say it is actually a B.

Edit - had a quick look at the reviews for the B one on eBay, definitely seems like the one you need.

So I used to get 3.2Ghz-3.5GHz with this AMD A10-5750M APU on my ASUS X550DP but after upgrading, well it's gone. I'm sure that boost thingy is gone because my 70% utilization is at 1.9xGHz which isn't the usual.

Depending on how your house/building is wired up to the breaker panel, you probably can't.

To measure everything, including the lights, etc, you'll need to ensure the following:
    1. All electrical items, outlets, lights, etc, on the 2nd floor are on ISOLATED separate circuits. If one circuit has some lights on the 2nd floor and some lights on the 1st floor because it was convenient to run the electrical wire that way, then your whole plan is bust and impossible, without the assistance of an electrician (Do not attempt this yourself unless you're an electrician, you can easily kill yourself with the voltage and amperage involved).
    2. Assuming all items on the 2nd floor are on separate circuits, you'll need to wire in a Kilowatt meter (whatever brand of power meter you want, really) directly into the service panel for each circuit. You can buy more expensive units that can accept multiple circuits to measure them all, and even get "smart" units.

In either case, rewiring of the breaker service panel will likely be necessary, and unless you're an electrician, you should stay away from doing that.

If you wanted to skip the lighting and anything built directly into the circuits, you could install Power Meters into each and every outlet - I mean, that's gonna be damn expensive for the number of meters required, but it's doable (You can get Kilowatt meters for as cheap as $20 or $30 if you're lucky, but multiply that by, example, 40 outlets (or however many outlets on the 2nd floor), and you'll see how the price can jump quickly. And those $20 power meters will be dumb units like Linus and Slick use for PC Total System power consumption (It plugs into the outlet, has a plug on the front, and just displays the power used on a digital display). You can buy more expensive ones that can communicate with each other remotely and even to a central server, but you'll be spending well over $100 each.

The most ideal way to do it, would be to pay an electrician to install monitoring equipment into the breaker service panel, assuming most (or all) of the 2nd floor items are on their own breakers.

ZeferiniX reacted to Trav_X in Are Mac computers really that bad?
People dog them so much, but what do you guys really think?

Personally OSX, especially Capitan and the newer versions, are a pleasure to use, although I still love the Windows 10 experience and the like. The only drawback in my opinion is lack of support on certain programs from the Internet, stuff like Dolphin Emulator, many certain Steam games, and those kinda things (not even sure if Dolphin is supported, just using as an example).

I think the aesthetics are great. If the newest MacBook actually had some vents, I would consider getting it and BootCamping it and using as a daily driver (however my mileage may vary ). But the design just has drawbacks, and I don't like spending a crap ton on adapters.

What do you guys honestly think about Mac computers (excluding the Mac Pro). I know this has probably been a thread before, but what actually do you guys think?

I'd go with the Galaxy simply because it's the cheapest and will perform identically to the others. I'm sure their customer service/RMA department is just fine because Asus's is really not that good anyway. If it was Visiontek, Club3d or some bottom of the barrel company like that i'd say cough up the extra money but Galaxy is not bad. Also with the Strix it's just a different cooler and i believe it has the 0db technology that allows the fan to not spin until it reaches a high enough temperature but the fans on the other cards are not loud anyway and i would prefer to have my card run cool all the time than warm most of the time until the fans finally do turn on.
