It should be fine as the net speed is around 350 down, all devices that will be connected are gigabit ports. Thanks, I didn't think of this, The ducts feel like a spider web though, It's located in the basement, but I agree, the way the ducts are routed takes me on wild goose chase and I keep hearing things that don't sound so good when I go fishing. Thanks everyone, I learned a lot in this thread, you were all extremely helpful.

I've been using the return vent(s) but it always ends up in some unknown location, the ducts in the basement really confuse me. Can you give me a brief lesson on the components of the ventilation system?

. Hey I'm trying to get some Cat6 though the vents, any ideas on how to do it with fish tape/pole? I bought the tape already but I can't seem to get it to where I need it and I'm unfamiliar with ventilation systems. Yes before you say it I'm aware of using plenum cables in the ducts and will definitely do so when I find a route. Cutting drywall or drilling is unfortunately not an option. I'm trying to get one from an upstairs bedroom to the mid floor and from the basement to the mid floor, any tips or info from you professionals would be greatly valued.

Hey thanks for checkout this thread. I used kaspersky virus removal tool, malware bytes, zoek, jrt, hijack this, rkill64, adwcleaner and spybot. Housecall is like a 5hr scan so I haven't done it yet. Using Pale Moon browser. So that's that for Offers4U. As for Pale Moon, maybe I should try their forum but this program seems really "bleeding edge" or beta tester like. It constantly crashes for no apparent reason, and it likes to crash during youtube vids. Any help here will go a long way (Lots of plugin container crashes). As for Win10 I'm having trouble playing games and in general, massive freezing or bsoding If you want me to post any logs or sys info, let me know. I'm pretty competent with tech but I'm stumped

Not really surround, more for workflow space. I don't want AMD just for the heat issue, I want this stuff to run in a workstation environment, always on, always rendering/high load so I'd rather not have component degradation. I'll be watercooling reference cards and the AMD stuff is just too hot. Price isn't something I'm rly bothered with, I'm going for a mid range quadro and a high end Geforce. I just want something of quality (not the super high end quadro cards tho, too expensive!) Thanks for that programming advice, that's honestly the hardest part for me. What Raid do you think would work best? 5 or 6?

Hey guys, quick question(s). How much do you think the 8GB 880GTX will cost? The rumor is the 4GB one will cost about 499. For the Quadro question, I was wondering how to get the performance and 10bit colour to work together (and hopefully across multi monitors) with the Geforce card. Is it possible? I'd want to start game development for the Rift by the end of the year and I'd like to have good colour accuracy and performance in some of those high end asset creation tools like Maya. Maybe if you guys know anything about game dev you could give me some tips that work in real life, not just advice for e-pen sakes.

You just need to watch a lot of anime, onii-chan! (onii-chan means older brother in japanese and kawaii means cute.) It's not supposed to be kawaii, I'm a loli on the internet and that's how I speak, understand onii-chan? I don't see how this is advertising onii-chan, I just posted something I thought was cool.
