  1. If I manage to Win I would like to take home the New Razer Blade, that quad core paired with a 1060 sound beefy enough for gaming.
  2. Exactly! These are the kind of ads that I never skip before/between youtube videos. Just like the WoW cinematic, I watch that ad in full every time it pops up.
  3. The crew in the background breaks my immersion quite a bit, otherwise it is cool I guess
  4. Trying it for a hew hours and getting used to it in a few days is a big difference, I own a G3 and the button on the back feel so much natural than on the sides plus double tap to wake is there so I hardly ever use the back buttons anyway.
  5. VR: 2160x1200 @ 90 I don't know what is that resolution and why the times 2 in the end.
  6. Slow motion video, I am not a vine or snapchat guy but really like seeing things in slow motion for the ultimate details.
  7. Interesting, these guys are saying that they innovate by rendering 210 degree FoV in that massive resolution on the other hand nVidia and others are trying to render only the sweet spot of out vision and blur the details in the peripheral vision with multi-res shading.
  8. What is 1150 Aus dollar so I don't know why the hell Aussies are alwats complaining about their taxes when everyone is paying the same or more. People should really start to realize that 650$ MSRP does not mean that you will get a 1 to 1 conversation in currencies and call it a day. Every nation will charge import tax, and other sales taxes, etc.
  9. These displays might be pointless in phones, but VR headsets would benefit from it a lot. 4k starched across your FoV is way better then today's standards sure it will take some time until we can render 4k image at decent framerate for VR but it's not out of reach.
  10. I'm so excited to finally be able to enjoy the non existent 4k content on my 5.5 inch smartphone. Pathetic BBC!
  11. Servers are loud because the surface they dissipate heat on is small so you need to push a lot of air through it to cool them down. Now imagine a heatsink size of a wall mounted radiator you don't even need ventilation imo the rising hot air will pull cold air through it so it cools down itself.
  12. http://store.steampowered.com/app/328070/ For £6.99 it is not bad but I would rather play Quake Live on steam for free.
