Yo i have a MSI gtx 750ti 2gb and i want to upgrade to a R9 390. Is it possible or am I stuck with Nvidia cards for the rest of my life... Do i have to delete the Nvidia drivers and install AMD ones that come with the gpu? and if so how do i do it? BTW, which brand 390 should I get? I have a good discount in my local area for a sapphire one so I was thinking of that one.

I don't know what you expected from a 1$ soundcard.... If you really want you could find some kind of earthing wire and attach it to the USB plug which is what your body is kinda acting like when you touch it. But that is waay to much improvisation and time wasted just for a 1$ soundcard.

Does a graphics card use any power when no monitor's plugged in?
Ionizer replied to Tiger's topic in Graphics Cards
You don't have to disconnect your Discrete graphics card. You should be able to switch between both graphics solutions from within your OS. When there is no monitor connected, the GPU (i believe the 960 has this feature) will go into efficiency mode and the fans would stop spinning. -
Alright I ain't gonna force you. BTW I think there are some really cool new PlastiDip colours nowadays too. Neon Green, blue and many more.
-
I know it's fine..... Just saying it won't be kind on him if he decides to upgrade.
-
Take a bit of time and paint your parts using a PlastiDip Coating. Just be careful not to get any on the actual electric components (plasti dip can be peeled off later on which is why its really good). Linus did a video on this so you can use that as reference. This way you can stick with your current build and choose ANY colour you want. (maybe a purple and black scheme ) However if you don't want to take the time to paint everything you can buy parts with similar colours but that may change your costs by a slight amount and you may have to compromise on some performance. P.S Change your power supply man. 980 with a 550? if you upgrade later on by adding another card, your pc will explode most probably

EVGA GTX 980 ti vs GTX 980 ti G1 Gaming Gigabyte
Ionizer replied to Xyrock's topic in Graphics Cards
Yeah In that case, the difference in performance doesn't justify paying more money. Unless of course you just want it to look cool. I would go for the EVGA -
Personally, i think first place for me would go to Ape Escape 3's soundtrack. Especially the song called 'Winter Wonderland'

EVGA GTX 980 ti vs GTX 980 ti G1 Gaming Gigabyte
Ionizer replied to Xyrock's topic in Graphics Cards
You can but not much or else your heat output would skyrocket. Nothing the G1's cooler can't handle though -
for your build the Power Supply is pretty great. If i were you, i would fork out some extra cash and grab that AMD r9 390.The performance upgrade is actually quite good and worth the investment in my opinion. It should also let you play latest titles for a good amount of time.
