  1. Honestly, I really just enjoy the fact that a game with "Soviet Republic" in the title is now the center of a court battle regarding private property rights.
  2. Might want to check out gog.com - they have lots of older games that have been re-tooled to run on modern systems. There's a sale going on there now, and it looks like they have the specific series you mentioned, too.
  3. There are so many I haven't tried. Can't go wrong with a nice Gouda, Muenster, or Grana Padano. And of course Pepper Jack is amazing on a burger.
  4. SUPREME EXECUTIVE AUTHORITY IS DERIVED FROM A MANDATE FROM THE MASSES, NOT SOME FARCICAL AQUATIC CEREMONY
  5. Use caution when yo-yoing. If you yo-yo it too hard, it'll leak into your protected memory space
  6. Quite the soccer program you have there. Also, it took me a very long time to realize your mascot is a kangaroo.
  7. I was born in south Alabama very close to Dothan. And Duke has played Troy several times over the last few years. Of course, I have a bit of a soft spot for Auburn because of a guy named Cam Newton.
  8. Hey, the Bison! Quite a football team you have up there in Fargo. Of course, we know a thing or two about winning titles at Duke as well. I graduated Duke with a degree in biology, with a concentration in cell and molecular. Minored in chemistry and political science.
  9. V6. I don't find myself missing the extra power too much, except maybe when I'm merging onto a highway and could use a bit of an extra push
  10. Truth. They just looked like boxes on wheels.
  11. Yup, that's my car. The only one I've ever owned, actually. Got it back in 2003. Would you believe it doesn't have 100K miles on it yet? I've been through so, so much in that car, from North Carolina to Florida to Chicago to Indianapolis to New York to Buffalo to Boston to Vegas to Vancouver. I think what I miss the most are the nighttime drives between Rowan County, NC and Durham, NC up and down I-85 back when I was in college with the radio turned up. She needs a little suspension and body work, but other than that she's in good shape. Gas mileage leaves a bit to be desired, but what can I say? It isn't a Prius. The bigger problem is honestly the gouge-level gas prices here in Canada.
  12. LOL! My wife actually had a bunch of Linus faces as her background not too long ago. Here's what I've got going on at work. I was lucky enough to be at this game and trophy presentation. I even have some of the confetti!
  13. My experience is that this game needs a 32-bit version of Windows. Nothing I've tried will make it work on 64-bit Windows. I have an older system with the 32-bit edition of Win7 on it just to play MW4. Vengeance, Mercenaries, and the MekTek re-release all work fine on it.
  14. Some good ideas recently, folks. Don't be surprised to see one or two of them in an upcoming episode. Keep them coming...
  15. Worst thing is being in front of someone with really aggressively bright LED headlights. Having them a bit brighter so the person driving can see better at night is fine, but the surface-of-the-sun-level illumination I've seen on some modern cars is dangerous.
  16. Yeah, Comcast is pretty merciless with their billing. SEC defenses are so quick, it doesn't surprise me that Georgia's should be one of the better units in the country. And yeah, having a young O-line is tough - it's harder for guys to come in and contribute immediately versus the so-called skill positions. I've actually been to Boone many times, where App State is. Cool little town. You shouldn't have any problems with them though, you're not Michigan. And yeah, it's tough being really far from home. I still watch all the Duke football games though (graduated from there in 2009). We've got a really good young QB in Daniel Jones and should be significantly better than last year, possibly good enough to challenge for the ACC Coastal title. I have no delusions that we have any shot of winning the conference due to a couple of monsters called Florida State and Clemson in the other division, but I'd be very surprised if we don't at least make a bowl game. Good luck this year, and beat Georgia Tech, won't you? We have to play them every season, and that option offense of theirs always gives us trouble, though we have gotten a few W's against them in recent years.
  17. ESPN and ESPN2 are almost universally included with regular cable subscriptions. It looks like Xfinity offers SEC Network through their "Digital Preferred" cable tier, which is the medium one. Doesn't look like you need the $5 add-on for any of the channels you want. How are your Dawgs looking this year? I know they've got a good chance of winning the SEC East, but Florida and Tennessee will be tough outs.
  18. Was reasonably certain it was Thailand, but to get that close was just stupidly lucky. Good seeing you at LTX, Laurence!
  19. Tons to do that doesn't require multiplayer. Career mode, The Journey, skill games, etc. You can also play Ultimate Team offline.
  20. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_regional_dishes_of_the_United_States You are welcome.
  21. I know nothing about criminal procedure in the Philippines. I can tell you that in the US, the evidence in your example was probably obtained illegally, meaning it wouldn't hold up in court, and a kid looking up the information you mentioned most likely wouldn't rise to the level of probable cause on its own.
  22. Yes, I mentioned it was close to the LEC, the venue.
  23. If you don't mind spending a bit more for a nice meal, go to S + L, which is very very close to the LEC. Went there for my anniversary dinner. Amazing North American wagyu flatiron steak for CDN$39, or $30.25 American. Probably the best steak I've ever had, and at that price it's more than reasonable.
  24. Rowan County, North Carolina. There are still plenty of days where I wake up and my first thought is "what the HECK am I doing out here." Love the job though.
  25. Very interesting. The problem disappears in the latest build of Chromium, though is still present in Chrome...
