The long way:
1. Reinstall Windows on hard drive first.
2. Once installed then back up any possible stuff from the SSD by finding your Wiindows.old folder
3. Once everything is backed up to hard drive then shut down and unplug hard drive
4. Format SSD, partition, and then reinstall Windows in SSD
5. Once SSD is up and running as primary boot drive...shut down and plug in hard drive.
6. Go to BIOS first to make sure SSD remains selected as the primary (first) boot drive
7. Once you are restarted go into Windows.old folder again on hard drive and recover backed up data

That worked! I updated the bios before but I guess I got the wrong update or something. This time it worked! Thanks for the help!
