As of right now i don't see a download from Intel's website unfortunately. I'll keep looking around and see if i see any. Right now your best bet is windows update to see if you can get the drivers from microsoft

Stryder721 got a reaction from suchamoneypit in Can you install a 64 bit windows in a 32 bits computer?
Unless the processor is 64bit compatible it wont work, easiest thing to do is check in the system page if you're using anything like windows vista and up. Or if not look up the processor online and it should say so

Stryder721 got a reaction from UnknownEngineer in Armed Robbers Using Pokemon GO to Target Victims in Missouri
So in the wake of Pokemon GO's success, armed robbers in Missouri are now using the app to target victims. The Verge reports that the robbers would use the app to lure unsuspecting people in and rob them at gun point by placing a beacon from within the app. The O'Fallen Missouri Police Department has made a statement on facebook about the whole ordeal.
The culprits were able to rob four people all in the age range of 16-18 years of age, and warned people to exercise extreme caution when your giving out personal information or going out.
The robberies happened at 2 o'clock at night making their car, a black BMW, very hard to spot. Thankfully the handgun was recovered and the Culprits arrested.
The adult suspects were charged with first degree robbery, a felony, and had bond set at $100,000 cash, Stringer said.
To everyone who uses the app and in general, please be safe!
Regards Stryder

Stryder721 reacted to Pesukarhu in "Crappyist" hardware you have ever owned
The only thing the xbone has improved is the graphics. The 360 controller is perfect except the D-pad. I have heard people complaining about the system updates. Takes two hours to install a simple update apparently. The 360 installs very quickly compared to the one. I think the xbone is running on windows vista

Stryder721 got a reaction from wrath in Button-less fingerprint sensors coming to phones this year
LG innontek and fingerprint cards are working on a fingerprint sensor that will avoid the whole touching the button thing we have become accustom to. When this become a thing the phone, phone manufacturers can now integrate the sensor under the same tough glass that covers the phone's display, which would be super nice if your like me and your phone is prone to being dropped.
Right now the concept is to imagine the S7 from Samsung but with the home button being the capacity key that is under the glass. Doing this will allow the phones to become more "water resistant" and the sensor itself is less likely to be damaged by scratching or physical damage to the phone such as drops.
So far there is a very slim chance (0.002) of a false acceptance of this method meaning the reader is very accurate, but this causes some more delay because your adding an extra layer to the scanning process. But the glass sensor is just as good as the button sensors we are already accustomed to using.
There is talk of even implementing this into things such as ovens, to help reduce the risk of small children getting hurt by using the same fingerprint scanner. The sensor can be placed without changing the aesthetic of the phone at all.
When can i get my hands on this new change, well as stated in the article phones with this sensor are expected to drop on second half of THIS YEAR! (Super cool)!

If it passes running Prime95 you should be rock solid on the overclock. When i added the oc to my system i tested it for 8 hours just letting it run all night as i slept. But if prime95 can run your games will run smoothly

At least your BIOS spells "Anti-Surge" properly. I've got an old M4A785-M board that still insists "Surge" is spelled "Surgey" for some reason.

Stryder721 reacted to Affinity Collective Tech in Wooden PC Case | AC-Mark I
Hey guys! My name is Connor, I co-own Affinity Collective which is a small time technology channel on YouTube, we use our channel to obviously create videos but also for learning. We have gotten a lot better with filming and editing techniques, but all criticism is appreciated!
But lets get on to the meat and potatoes... So I had some extra wood lying around... and I had my computer... So I decided to build a computer case out of wood! To be fair it's a little rough, but for spending less then $60.00 in materials, it's pretty sweet!
Watch The Video On It Here (Spoiler: Contains Some Bokehlicious B-Roll)
As you'll see in the video, the case was built using 98% 1/2" Birch Plywood, and then a couple pieces of 2x4 just for a stand off inside the bottom piece. The windows are all made using some 1/4 " Acrylic I got from Lowes.
I used a table saw for almost all of the cutting, and the occasional use of a band saw for some of the angled pieces. I had a belt sander I used, and then a couple of drill bits for holes. It was put together with a small brad nailer. After I sanded the final product, I gave it a Special Walnut Stain that's dark enough to look okay with all of my black peripherals, and I put a semi-gloss poly coat on it as well so it would hold up a little bit better.
This was my first time building anything like this, so it was a learning process for sure... Next time I'm going to try building a more minimalist design so it'll fit more conveniently in my dorm for college.
Thanks guys!
**Please note** The computer is not on fire! It's just for effect for still shots in B-Roll! It makes it a bit more interesting!

Stryder721 reacted to Giraffackle in Is a BenQ RL2460HT Worth it For $70?
I know some people say you can repair a monitor scratch it isn't too deep with an eraser, but it seems to have mixed results.
I feel like I would use it as a monitor just for gaming since it has a 1ms response time, and productivity on my other monitor which is slightly more color accurate.
I have a monitor that has a small scratch on the bottom left, and it's true that you can't really notice it, but I feel like it's different when it's in the center of the display. He told me that you can't even see it when it's on.

To be fair unless your looking like super close, you can hardly notice the scratch, and for 70 bucks not to shabby
