  1. I'm currently running integrated graphics on my i5 6500 as my R9 380 died on me last month
  2. Unfortunately I was using a mini-ITX motherboard and I completely destroyed the PCI-E connector while yanking it out so that's not an option for me. I even tried realigning the pins and while I thought i did a good enough job, my PC would not boot. Oh and the reason for all this mess is because the GPU was make the screen glitch (like a dead GPU would). I'm thinking it was resting resting in the PCI-E connector in a messed up way for a while before.
  3. I scratched my graphics card's (R9 380) PCI-E connector by yanking it out of a case that was too small for it, stupid I know . I put up images here: not safe for the faint of heart, I warn you. I remember seeing Linus making a video about a Silver Conductive Pen being helpful around the office, would it work in this situation? I have thought about a couple options, I would like to know which option would be best: - Invest in a conductive pen and attempt repairing it myself; - Bring it up to a computer repair shop; - Try to RMA it; - Sell it as a non-working part on ebay; If there are any other options out there that could salvage this thing or at least not make it a total loss, please suggest.
  4. I love the red accents for around the laptop and on the backlit keys, the laptop looks great. Plus, those signatures!
