I scratched my graphics card's (R9 380) PCI-E connector by yanking it out of a case that was too small for it, stupid I know . I put up images here: not safe for the faint of heart, I warn you.
I remember seeing Linus making a video about a Silver Conductive Pen being helpful around the office, would it work in this situation?
I have thought about a couple options, I would like to know which option would be best:
- Invest in a conductive pen and attempt repairing it myself;
- Bring it up to a computer repair shop;
- Try to RMA it;
- Sell it as a non-working part on ebay;
If there are any other options out there that could salvage this thing or at least not make it a total loss, please suggest.
