I recently reserved a Asus B550 Prime Motherboard from my local microcenter However this morning I checked that they have the Asus B550 Tuf Motherboards in stock The price difference between the too are only $15 From what I can tell they offer almost the same features. What is the differences between the b550 Prime Motherboard and the b550 Tuf?

tried different cables. Might have to RMA the card if no solution comes up.

Hello yesterday during the middle of the night my pc suddenly froze and black screened.After restarting my PC, My Monitor will suddenly lose input after 10-15 seconds after windows boot up. Going into Bios is the same deal. Will lose input after 10-15 seconds after I load into BIOS Booting up to safe mode with the GPU loses no input(Taking out the GPU and using on board motherboard display works) After wiping my drives and reinstailling Windows 10 I still run into the same problem. Hopefully it'll be able to revive my baby Specs i5 4690k, Asus Gtx 970, Asus- Z97-A motherboard.

Have you tried putting your GPU to another PC to see if it works?

Most likely due to the fact that your computer was on the carpet the fan suffocated and killed your GPU.

Motherboard- Asus z97a Gpu- R9 290 XFX I believe my first pci port broken. Seems like it's not detecting my card I tried switching my GPU to the second slot and it's not displaying. Does the motherboard automatically use the first port and I need to go to bios to switch?

Hi everyone GPU is not displaying anymore CPU: Intel i7 4690k Mother Board: Asus Z97-A Ram: G.Skill Ripjaws X Series 16GB Hard Drive/SSD: Western Digital Caviar Blue 1TB - Samsung 840 EVO 250GB Video Card: XFX 290 Double Dispensation PSU: EVGA 650W 80+ Gold OS: Windows 10 (BackRound) This afternoon I was playing overwatch and I received a call to go pick up a package. Leaving my computer on I went to go run that errand. Coming back to my room I notice my computer was on hibernation which is strange since I permanently disabled the feature. Fired the system up and no display, even my keyboard and mouse wasn't lighting up after boot. After a couple of attempts I decided to take out my GPU and switch the hdmi cable and hooked it up through the mother board. The system fired normally with everything being read without the GPU. After putting the GPU back into my rig I noticed a red light displayed on the PCIEX16 slot 1, however the fans and led were on. Tried to switch it to PCIEX16 slot 2 (No Red LED on motherboard) fans and led turned on but no display mouse and keyboard did not light up. Do I have a dead card or do I have a bad 6 pin PCI cable?

Another Window 10 question. I have Windows 8.1 System Builder OEM installed on my set up. (http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00F3ZN2W0?psc=1&redirect=true&ref_=od_aui_detailpages03) It seems like I can't reserve a windows 10 download. Is this version not eligible for upgrade?

I recently finish building my PC 4 hours ago. Everything is working just great soon after when I plugged in my network adapter everything was fine. I decided to switch back to (WIred Ethernet internet) So I unplugged my wireless adapter and plugged in my Ethernet cable. My OS (WINDOWS 8) is still stuck in wireless mode and i can't change it back to Ethernet. I went onto device manager under my (Other Devices) Labeled Ethernet Controller, Pci simple communication center etc they all have (Error 28) Please Help! Mother Board Asus z97a. Making a new PC and my friend gave me a windows product key (Windows 8). I'm planning on downloading it through a usb and install the new os to my new build. I can't seem to find where to redeem the product key and install the os onto my usb. Please Help in need.
