Will Mac pro Xeons work in other machines?

The 1366 ones? Maybe, but keep in mind those Mac Pros used direct die cooling, so ones specifically for them won't have an IHS, or may include it but it won't be attatched.

    HELP i burned my psu

the psu is a thermaltake tr2 500w the psu didnt give me any issues during ownership and could the hdd be the issue
  5. The SSD will just be cooled down. PCPer noticed a 20°C decrease, iirc with a 950 Pro right under an EVGA 970.
  6. So yesterday I was playing escape from tarkov, it was all running smoothly right until my pc shut off instantly with no warning. I tried to boot it back up and everything inside booted (CPU, FANS, GPU LED) however the monitor was saying no signal so I shut down the pc again and booted it up again but it remained the same. So then me thinking my GPU might of have died I plugged the DVI cable into the Mobo to try and use on board video and yet again it said no signal. So Then I tried that fix where you unplug the psu and hold down the power button for about a minute and that didn't work on both onboard video and GPU. After that I just took my GPU out and bam the on board video was suddenly working again and then I tried another GPU that is really old and doesn't have any PCI-E ports (AMD HD7700 1GB I think) so I'm guessing it uses the mobo power and that also worked. However my Current GPU that I've been using for about 3 years doesn't work (Sapphire Nitro RX 470 8GB) so I'm believing to think that this might be a PSU issue as this gpu does use quite a bit of power and I don't see why the On board video doesn't work with this GPU plugged but works when its not plugged in. I need some help with this issue so it would be greatly appreciated if someone would help me.Specs:AMD Sapphire Nitro RX 470 8GBI5 2500k8GB ddr3 1600mhz Ram (Single stick)1TB seagate hard driveCorsair vs650 power supply

Vega finally beats RTX? Vulkan strikes again!

Wish macOS would add Vulkan now that they have all but gotten rid of OpenGL.

They're scams - either broken cards or re-named cards.

    Overclocking

Hello, I am planning on buying the Asus ROG Strix b450-i motherboard with the intention to place a 12 or 16 core Ryzen 7 or 9 4th generation CPU and overclocking it to 5 GHz and/or beyond on all 12 or 16 cores and 24 or 32 threads if those rumors are true. What im asking is has anyone with an Asus ROG Strix b450-i or x470-i motherboard acieved 4.3 GHz on the Ryzen 7 2700x on all 8 cores 16 threads or a Ryzen 5 2600x at 4.2 GHz on all 6 cores 12 threads on that motherboard? What were the VRM temps, and how hot can the VRM temps on that b450-i or x470-i ROG Strix motherboard get before it throttles?

    Freenas SMB share password help!

The password is stored on the client. And you can have the client remember the client forever if you want. You could reset the password every hour, but that seems like a awful solution. Why do you want to require a password that often? Your probably want more security on the workstations then
  11. What heat? it's a 1660, if anything it's gonna cool it down

Claims are very different from reality and the reality is that it simply won't work.

Boot option in window 10 through usb

Disable CSM in BIOS (assuming you have UEFI compatible hardware) and the second one should disappear

    Uppgrading fom an old pc

Those tests don't overclock the CPU. Sure the K version is a bit better, especially if overclocked, but the standard i7 8700 is no slouch. It just depends on your budget Of course, I have no knowledge of who is safe to buy from in your area.

maybe you don't have a real PC or a laptop just an old smartphone setting in a drawer but you want to use some Microsoft office application this way you won't need to buy any new hardware they claim you can dual-boot if that's true you won't have to loose any phone functionality

    Building pc for a friend

Hey guys, I'm building a PC for a friend, been building computers for a while, but I have a little oem with a i5 3470 8gb ram, but the gpu is where I just don't know what to do, I was thinking the gt 1030, but also the gtx 1050 ti low profile, which should I get? Is the gt 1030 worth it? I wanna go with the cheaper one if it's still good cause I am not getting paid to make this build and so yeah, it has a 240 watt power supply too, that is important to say

Will Mac pro Xeons work in other machines?

The board is dead at the moment, and I have a known faulty CPU for it. If I can get it to do anything other than spin fans then I'll be happy. I'm not willing to try my known good Xeons in it in case it was a board fault that damaged the original CPU.

Java: How to parse Double into Int?

    Now I understand thanks. Can you answer me another question, I want to print something in System.our.println and somehow I get errors like "error: ';' expected" "error: not a statement" and " error: ')' expected" This is the outprint: System.out.println("double: "+doubleWert"\nbyte: "+byteWert); It only occures when I put in \n I solved it with: System.out.println("double: "+doubleWert+"\n"+"byte: "+byteWert);

    New build polish

Any notes to my new build? Ignore the prices on part picker... i got that gpu already https://pcpartpicker.com/list/4zxfw6 Also ill stick to that wraith prism stock cooler, and maybe upgrade later to some dual fan. Might even upgrade to 3700x and x570 after a year, but im not waiting for that now.
