  1. Past hour
  2. Thinking about the recent video with RTX HDR upscaling. A fun video based on that could be building a home theatre of but having the challenge of not using a keyboard/mouse to use it. So you can only control it with a tv remote or game controller and use tools like stremio Also I completely forgot I had an account here.
  3. Just plugged my laptop into the ethernet port my server uses. Works and has internet. Don't know why the server isn't connecting. Never set it to an IP, it just chose one on startup. Also router doesn't see the device at all so nothing I can configure there aswell.
  4. Got it thanks to your advice. Try it with one stick of ram. I've got a dead ram stick. The system posts with one and not the other. I'm so glad I tried that before pulling the cpu out. I've even managed to get my system back up and running again although only one stick of ram. Thanks for that.
  5. hi rekomandasi monitor 24 icnhi? harga sekitar 1.5jt ips pane if possible
  6. That on the main or secondary monitor? Does it do the same when put in borderless windowed? Does some quick Google-fu 5yo monitor... I guess if you got a bad unit it could start having issues.
  7. What? Thats not how that works
  8. It has an IP because you say you set one. You can't connect to it over the network because you set a static on the server without getting your router to understand which IP you want it to be.
  9. Yeah I want a good upgrade path
  10. Which they clarified later that they were determining this based on the flawed observation of background optimisation finishing faster. So I explained why this is flawed and actually highlights the reason why full drives are actually slower, because they can't be optimised properly when full. Perhaps I should have clarified further, in that a drive where the files have become split across the drive (unoptimised) due to lack of free contiguous space will be slower at reads and writes, as most of the time will be spent moving the heads around than actually reading/writing the data.
  11. From what i can make out in the video too, your memory looks relatively maxed out (top leftmost graph) Are you utilising your GPU, it looks like its not running, if youre running off integrated graphics, 1 it will be slow and 2 it will eat a decent chunk of youre RAM into the bargain
  12. Moreso on a per game basis as youve detailed above
  13. Sure, that's how the GPU is designed to operate. But 100% usage doesn't really mean 100% of the GPU's resources are used at their fullest. It simply means that it wouldn't be able to process commands any faster than it currently does. But it doesn't mean the commands it does get use all parts of the GPU core. So power draw and heat output can vary, even when the reported load is the same. For example a game that is using raytracing or DLSS is going to make use of other parts of the GPU core than a game that isn't. And these different parts may draw a different amount of power.
  14. Captainmarino

Watching the last Delta IV Heavy launch and I'm…

Of course it is. The Ruble = $0.01 USD
  15. Bit hard to tell from the video but are you running out of ram? I can see a CPU spike causing the lag which may be your computer placing data in SWAP. Check your device manager to see if anything is hogging all your memory.
  16. Well in all games gpu usage is 100 percent or close to 100 percent.
  17. Apologies. I'm using an msi b550 motherboard, a 5800x3d, a rtx 4070, 32 gb of corsair ram and a 850watt seasonic focus power supply. Since its hanging on the cpu led, i'm just about to test the cpu in my sons system. That's the handy thing about us being on the same platform.
  18. Gpu temp itself does not go above 73 degrees. Hot spot in the high 80's can peak in the 90's but usually stays in the high 80',s.
  19. Start by unplugging everything that is unnecessary: e.i.: extra monitors, usb pens, printers, mouse, speakers/headset. Try booting it with just one monitor and a keyboard plugged in. If that works, plug things back in one by one until you find which device is causing the issue. If it still doesn't boot you'll need to open it up (If you're comfortable with that) and unplug things internally such as extra hard drives, your graphics card, try booting with a single stick of ram if you have more than one it. Just a process of elimination for now to see if you can narrow the issue down to a certain bit of hardware.
  20. Jumping on @Eigenvektors bandwagon here, what are the rest of the gpu temps youre seeing; gpu temp and gpu hotspot temp?
  21. It will depend on two factors: How much power is running through them (i.e. essentially how much GPU load is there?), and how much cooling do they get. If they run under high load, but at the same time the cooler is running slower because the GPU core isn't getting as hot, that might result in them getting hotter, despite power draw being the same.
  22. Condolences... With that much no info can't really help
  23. Ok so I recently bought an rtx 4070 super. I had a question about what determines how hot the vrms get. Vrm temps in game; Forza horizon 5 4k max settings -vrm temp 78 Far cry 6 4k max settings- vrm temp 84 Resdient evil 3 4k max settings- vrm temp 92 Dead spake remake 4k dlss quality max settings- vrm temp 86 Palwolrd 4k high settings- vrm temp 84 Cyberpunk 4k performance dlss overdirve rt- vrm temp 80 The outliner here is resident evil.
  24. So any downsides to going AMD? Seems better price to performance. Only downside being that it's slightly older then the 14700K and might get a new update soon? But it's probably also more likely that a new AMD chipset will still be compatible with my Motherboard.
