  2. Your current setup isn't bad so not sure why you need to upgrade. Ryzen 5600 with 6650 XT. That seems like a decent mid-range PC. What do you want to do that this PC can't handle ? Do you want better gaming performance ? I belive the best "bang for your buck" is keeping your current setup but upgrading the CPU to a Ryzen 5800X3D and also upgrading the GPU. Buying a completely new PC will be very expensive and not worth the extra money.
  3. As soon as I opened it, the only ones that were unchecked were the audio controllers. I did everything as you said there but the issue is still there. If you have any other ideas, I'm open to give them a try. Thanks for your help so far!
  4. So some of the monitor I found with similar pricing has these different features. My question is, is it worth it to pay that little bit extra for HDR400 instead of HDR10 and are they that different?
  5. Yes, this card doesn't draw that much power. It would be perfectly fine in a system like this.
  6. Is the GPU in the PCIe x16 slot closest to the CPU? Have you reseated the GPU and CPU? Are all the needed power cables plugged in? What PSU and RAM do you have?
  7. I've gamed on kz zsn pro x and they're great, also half the price of the ones you're looking at. I currently use a pair of katos by moondrop and they are phenomenal but are also around 200 usd. I hear great things about the moondrop aria and at 80 dollars I think that may be a fair contender

Probably. I worry that Windows is moving from "will run on almost anything" to "will run only on the newest of the newest".

No idea, from the 2 articles I read about it, they sounds like they don't even fully know it's use-case or whatever. From the article I linked. From https://www.techradar.com/computing/artificial-intelligence/get-ready-to-learn-about-what-windows-11-of-the-future-looks-like-at-microsofts-march-21-event (LOL) ionno Hype train ?

  13. 1. If there is more plus side in marrying my arch-enemy sister than the negative side of having my arch-enemy as my brother-in-law, why not. Who knows, we might end up becoming closer and fight someone else that bugs us together. 2. If it doesn't break school regulation, why not? unless you are saying every US student is racist and/or superficial, which I'm pretty sure not. Business relationship doesn't work like high schoolers relationship, not even in strictly "Enemies today friend tomorrow" basis. As long it brings enough profit even rivals will team up. Especially if it means a common adversary might lose profit at the same time. Anyway, AMD/Intel/Nvidia doesn't really care if their product is paired with Intel/AMD/Nvidia, their CPU/GPU is still being bought. They want only their products being used of course, and they're going to try their best to pitch their own products, to the point of giving incentives or something like that. But it's up to the manufacturer to pick what to put in their product. And they (laptop manufacturers) doesn't give a shit even if the 3 companies actually arch-enemies or friends with each other, because they too only care about 1 thing, profit. What they (any manufacturer) really care is their product isn't selling or not being used at all. Because that means less profit and less market share, or atleast might end up in less market presence.

Why so much AI? Who is asking for this? (None of my devices are new enough anyways, so I guess I can continue existing without AI)

Conclusion: My phone can do that.

Not once in my life did I ever buy anything because I needed it. I always bought it because I wanted it. Capitalism ftw!
  17. Your claim makes no sense. No one just charges premium and everyone's like "yup, all fine". You earn the right to charge premium and EK has always been the premium brand. Guess what, premium brands charge premium prices. People also forgot how copper prices increased through years and how machining specific blocks simply costs more. As for EVGA, do you realize EVGA was actually making the "NVIDIA" branded graphic cards for NVIDIA back in the day and that it was known as brand with toughest PCB's and power delivery circuits? In similar way how Sapphire has been making "Built by ATi" back then. Also your warranty claim makes no sense. Last thing any company wants is for most of their products to be processed through warranty. It's just absolutely worst for business. Either you lower the warranty period and risk people avoiding your products or you raise the warranty to attract customers with longer warranty and ensure most of your sold products survive warranty period without any need for service. This is the best outcome. But if something goes wrong, users have the peace of mind warranty will cover their expensive graphic card and as far as I know EVGA has always correctly dealt with warranty claims and was actually know to be very "pro consumer" oriented.
  18. Desktop parts with low TDP or laptop parts with low TDP used on vise-versa platforms haven't been new. The Alder Lake 7W N100 is a great laptop / mini PC chip, both.

  20. Clock that 3060 sucker, 200 on the core... at least, go for it. See what numbers it pops, far more on the memory... I've got a Dual 3060 Ti. Still a rock n roller of a GPU in most the stuff I do...
  21. Ya I just googled it, it doesn’t have graphics. You will need something to set up the system regardless of what OS you pick. So if you have a GPU in a different PC, you will need to borrow it for initial setup. Unraid is a good option.
  22. I have other 2 analogies: 1: Pairing an Intel Arc GPU with a Ryzen CPU is like marrying your arch-enemy's sister. 2: Pairing an Intel Arc GPU with a Ryzen CPU is like attending American high school while wearing Russian high school uniform.
  23. I had a 9400f pc that I upgraded using my old GPU and figured I will upgrade everything but the GPU and use my Old gpu for like 2-3 months then upgrade, these are my current specs. - Ryzen 7 7800x3d - Asus ROG strix B650E-F - MSI MPG A750GF (750 Watt PSU) - MSI RTX3060 12G from my previous rig - G.Skill Trident Z5 DDR5 6000 CL30-38-38-96 - Deepcool AK620 Digital- both fans attached and in use - 6 ARGB case Fans Considering these specs, would it be okay for me to get a 4070 Super, will my power budget allow it or should I get a 7800xt(is cheaper actually), 7900GRE costs the same as a 4070 Super? Now I am wondering should i like get the MSI MAG A850GL and then a 4070 Super or like just get the 7800XT, I am also conflicted because a few of my friends have had very bad experiences of stuttering and glitches when using AMD gpus like the 6600XT and such, all in all very confused I am. I would really appreciate any help and advice on this Topic. Thanks guys!
  24. It's not about whether its technically feasible (of course it is, why wouldn't it), it's about whether it makes sense financially. Is such a system going to sell in significant enough numbers to offset the R&D and manufacturing costs? If not, then nobody's going to build one.
