  2. The laptop has HDMI, USB C, and MDP while the Monitor has HDMI and DVI. I want to use the 144hz refresh rate, what can I do to retain the best quality? I read somewhere that the only way was to buy a $80-$90 live DVI to MDP adapter.
  3. Ok so during heavy usage (sometimes it takes heavier usage than other times) I seem to lose internet access for sometimes a few minutes and sometimes a few hours. My pc shows my network status as connected to the internet and every other pc in the house can still use the internet just fine but for some reason I can not. Restarting my pc/router does not seem to help and I have checked all drivers are up to date. Does anyone have any ideas that may help with my issue? Thanks in advance for any advice.

    DDR4 upgrades

That motherboard is not compatible with your CPU. You will need to get a board that is socket AM4 and a B450 board is what you will want to get. The CPU and Memory will work well together though.
  8. i Just got a laptop, there is a high pitch whine noise coming from the CPU fan I think. When the fan speeds up it gets higher pitched. And when the fan is off I cant hear it at all, any suggestions?

Linus Trevor? That's going to give "Nvidia, fuck you" a whole new meaning ... Look, there's Linus Torvalds and there's Trevor Philips. One is a completely out-of-control lunatic, the other is a video game character.

    Any luck with Xidax ?

  11. So you've repeatedly informed us on why the MBA can't sport a quad core. What you haven't addressed is why other manufacturers can do so with ease in a similar form factor. Why is the big, strong, COURAGEOUS Apple so afraid to give the option for a quad core? Oh right, you can advertise the top end model as "THE BEST MAC BOOK AIR YET" to lure uneducated Apple fangirls in and make a killing selling them a $1200 dual core paper weight.

    x99 oc help plz

First time when i went into bios after installing the new ram, i did the usual like before ram upgrade picked the oc profile didnt realize with ram oc at 3000mhz my cpu blck speed increased causing cpu to be at 5.5ghz. When the computer boot up there were no display or keyboard/mouse light. Did i do any damage to my cpu or computer in general? im new to this , even though this mobo has quad channel im only using 2 ram sticks. On youtube i see 5-10% fps increase in game performance with 2400 vs 3000mhz. Am i wrong? default mobo speed is running the new 3000 mhz ram at 2400mhz but when i checked the specs in cpuz its telling me its still using 1.36v at 16-16-16-39 timing. Why is voltage still high running only 2490mhz? my old stick at 2400mhz only used 1.25v. Also on paper timing suppose to be 15, is it because the 2400mhz its running at?

    GIGABYTE A320M-S2H+Ryzen 3 2200G

It SHOULD work fine but if i were you, i'd get either a b350 or b450 board just to be sure of nothing happening later down the road.

How much could I get for my system?

What country are you in, if you were in australia, that'd be worth upwards of $1,600!
  18. So I'm confident the board supports the 2200G if I order it right now but I've heard it had some problems with the Raven Ridge Ryzen APUs. Build is for my dad (he doesn't know to or really need overclocking) so I really want to fully confirm the board and 2200G are compatible out of the box without any weird BIOS flashing or updating stuff. Can anyone fully confirm? Thanks.

    DDR4 upgrades

Hello, a little bit of an explanation: So I have a ddr3 system with an AMD FX 6300, pared with 24gb of ram clocked at 1333 mhz. Currently I want to upgrade to ddr4 because my CPU has been lacking in my performance needs compared to my GPU (gtx 970) I have a list of the things I think will be a good upgrade, though I am not to good with pc parts. Is my list good? Can there be any cheaper options? If there are please, tell what I can replace. I don't want to upgrade to another am3+ cpu due to the lack of performance boost. And I have a budget of around $150 List of components: Motherboard: https://www.newegg.com/p/1HD-002J-00002?Item=1HD-002J-00002&source=region&nm_mc=KNC-GoogleAdwords-PC&cm_mmc=KNC-GoogleAdwords-PC-_-pla-_-Motherboards - Intel-_-1HD-002J-00002&gclid=Cj0KCQjwz6PnBRCPARIsANOtCw2yNPe6TEQkNIZ_lCF_JOEko0Qinc3qIDArM8eG1cVOHEYZfylQkaoaAoU2EALw_wcB&gclsrc=aw.ds CPU: https://www.newegg.com/amd-ryzen-3-2200g/p/N82E16819113481 RAM: https://www.bestbuy.com/site/corsair-vengeance-lpx-8gb-2-4ghz-pc4-19200-ddr4-dimm-unbuffered-non-ecc-desktop-memory-black/6256218.p?skuId=6256218 Is this a good list? Or is there anything better? Edit: This PC is for gaming primarily, with the occasional rendering of a video.

    1903 UPDATE ISSUE!

Everything is running as it should. That's 1596MHz, effective 3192MT/s.

    Would 32 GB memory bottleneck a i5-9600k?

Thank you. You've done far more work than I could ask for. I'll probably go with this. I don't actually know too much about speakers or headphones, do you think these are good? I was wanting a second monitor since I plan on rendering stuff in the background and wanted to keep an eye on it while I game. I was going to get two of the same monitor as I wanted to try out dual screen but on second thought that'd be hellish for the crosshair with two monitors. The second one can be pretty cheap I guess. Thank you again. I hate to ask more but could you recommend a good keyboard? I'd prefer a wireless one so I don't have to mess with the cable but whatever you think'd be best I'd trust. You seem like you know better than me.

    1903 UPDATE ISSUE!

    1903 UPDATE ISSUE!

CPU-Z was showing it correctly then. If the memory here is really running at 1600MT/s, CPU-Z would show it running at 800MHz.

    is this psu future proof

why would you need a 750w PSU anyway? 650W is plenty enough for OC-ing high grade components. And the power efficiency of parts are getting better with each generation.
  25. Right but which model? As in what specs are you looking at on their website?
