    My Sub-$500 PC Build

Well, I would like a mostly black with a few white accents to compliment my current color scheme, and I think 500GB is enough. I am coming from a laptop with integrated graphics on a core i3 4030u, and 4gb ddr3l, so really nearly anything is better than what I have.
  4. You won't get far before a 1080p GPU bottleneck Maybe like a 1660 or RX 590 will do? However those are both not that much higher performance than the 970

No, I mean it's currently single track and extremely overcrowded. They'll need to add another track eventually.
  6. Right now I have a pc with an intel i5 4590 3.3GHz (no overclocks, my motherboard does not support it) and a gtx 970 4gb graphics card. I'm trying to decide whether my cpu can take a gpu upgrade, or if I'm already bottlenecking my cpu. Anybody else done tests for this cpu on what gpu best fits this speed?

Double tracking would better suit an Express, like in NYC. The only station here with a third track (Branch Av. may have more than that, but it's a terminal station), is DCA Airport, because it was a terminal back in the day. I don't think IAD will have one, as it will not be used as a terminus. Not even Wheele-Reston East has one, and that's the current terminal on the Silver Line.

    VR Headset recommendations

I apologize if this is the wrong place to post this. (Note This is repost for General Discussion) My budget is somewhere between 300 and 400 united state dollars. I'm looking for a vr headset and I am wondering what headsets are good and which ones I should stay away from. I am personally fine with waiting for better opinions if you guys think I should, anyway thank you for the help.

    Experiences with non-techies

Last year we were required to bring in a USB drive. I was one of the few who bought one in (therefore getting a 100 on the assignment that said to get it), and it was an overkill 64 GB drive. We used Google Drive the whole year, due to it's integration with Classroom, and I only used it once for a file we were told to put into Drive. I now do constructive things with my time, like ripping the buttons from the mice.

WMATA needs to extend the Green to BWI. A pair of tracks in Greenbelt yard run up to a railroad crossing, parallel to CSX and MARC tracks that continue north past Laurel, with the MARC splitting off to Camden Yards. I guess the idea is to have the Green Line split off SW of Baltimore to get to the airport if this is ever done.

Where to start in Information Technology career?

I would recommend you go for the DevOp position. There's no shortage of programmers and developers, but companies sometimes struggle to find DevOps. They basically maintain the infrastructure used by aforementioned devs and programmers, I'm told they're worth their weight in gold to a lot of companies. For that, you'd probably want some of the Cisco networking certs, maybe one or two VMWare certs, be able to script in Python and PowerShell, and maybe some networking certs. Wouldn't be a terrible idea to get your CompTIA A+ either. If you're just getting started, there's nothing wrong with just going for like a helpdesk position and working your way up the power chain.
