Washed my car. Plugged in the key and turned it…

It's a Honda CR-V Gen 3, bought in 2011. Never changed any important engine parts for 12 years. So partly afraid due to the alternator's age. Especially since Honda's parts for EOL models is kinda hard to get here, unless I want to pay nearly double MSRP for a 2nd hand / OEM, or triple to pre-order a brand new one. Well yeah, though it's concerning when it's more "important" than -one example- a 30cm x 30cm gift box on the table, around 40cm in front of him. Or you know... his son who sat 2ft away from him Can you believe that this the very same person who long time ago mocked & belittle me for playing games on my PC a lot ? Well, if I can find a nearby store that provide the service, I'd just try, since based on quick research it will costs me just around $3. The process might take a full day though. Definitely beats spending $100 for a non-chinese gibberish brand charger with questionable spec, which I will use maybe once in a blue moon. That's for sure Thanks for sharing your experience with dead battery btw.
  3. Idk the proper pricing, that’s why I asked… just give a vibes build at as low a price possible, probs black and white I never thought I’d say this but I wish it was as straightforward as pcs lol
  4. Looking for a mouse. I read the thread regarding mice and after checking out the options, it's either none are available locally to try in person or are INSANELY expensive, way out of budget. I need a good mouse for shooters (Ready or Not, Arma, TABG, etc), basic work (Browsing sites, coding, nothing specific), and some occasional random games like Minecraft (Basically just a shooter without the guns lmao). Ideally I'd prefer it to be <50€ but I'm sure the budget could stretch a little if the mouse will be drastically better. I live in Lithuania so add like 1.5x off of USD pricing as a general rule of thumb. Buying soon because my current Steelseries Rival 3 is having some issues with detecting my input and is overall just worn down and not doing very well. Specific preferences: - Large hand size (According to the thread), 18x10cm - Comfort similar to that of the Rival 3, weight doesn't have a big impact - At least 2 side buttons with preference for more (Arma moment) - Small/specialised brands are likely not going to exist here - Good build quality (I plan on using it for a long while) - Proper software that isn't borderline bloatware or installs McAffee - Reliable Wireless or wired, doesn't matter. I can take either. Appearance also doesn't matter either seeing as I'll not be able to see the thing, so what's the point
  5. What is the advantage of running one of these instead of something like the BKHD Intel N5105 NAS Motherboard? It's an Intel CPU, so you can run Windows on it if you're a hard core windows user and if not, it'll run almost any version of Linux you can throw at it instead of a specific version for ARM cpus.

  8. Switch that psu out for a slightly cheaper one and you might be able to fit in a 7900gre by the skin of your teeth
  9. This is the one I've been looking for... Thanks
  10. $60 is barely enough for a cheap prebuilt mechanical keyboard... Unless I am misunderstanding something, there's no way in hell you're making a full DIY keyboard for $60-80.
  11. I went through the Panel lottery with my last monitor.. it took 4 tries of varying degrees of cracked screen and dead pixels. I'm totally okay with screen flickering on white screens every now and then on a 1st try lol.
  12. The Quad Head version is still available, though more expensive it can still run in a 2x1 mode
  13. Have you tried using the adapter? 1:1 12VHPWR has given me the most issues out of all the other options, the fan ramping while idle being one of them. I speculate its an issue with the sense pins.
  14. I did now, it's still dead. I used the following command for removal: apt purge "*nvidia*" And this one for reinstallation: apt install nvidia-driver firmware-misc-nonfree
  15. As the title says, looking for a black/white diy keyboard, sub 60-80$ (idk what a good cost is for a cheap mediocre diy leybord, as low as possible without it being unusable) In the US, mainly gaming I’ve been looking around, and all the designing websites are weird and n out really as intuitive as pcpp Thank you
  16. I've had one for >1.5 years, never seen these issues. Would probably be best to have it serviced before any warranty expires if you've already tried all the other options.
  17. I think it's universally considered the best-sounding gaming headset on the market... so yeah sound quality good. Planar Magnetic drivers are so good. I have them in my IEMs and gaming is fantastic.
  18. Maybe post a picture? But anyways, @TatamiMatt's suggestion is the correct answer if you're doing everything right.
  19. Lol I will enjoy my awesome performance and kick back and watch you guys figure everything out
  20. I have the Neo G8 and it's mediocre with dark content and with bright content (like most websites) the screen kind of flickers like it can't handle a white screen. It has a very aggressive anti-glare screen coating, but it makes dark content very hard to see. Next to it I have the Apple Studio Display, and while I know it's not a fair comparison because it's a glossy display... the difference is night and day. The Neo G7 is essentially the same monitor but with less coating. I haven't returned it because I can live with the monitor kind of flickering, and I really like having a curved 32-inch monitor. Plus, setting up my desk again sounds like a pain. I bought it the same time Helldivers 2 came out and it's wonderful.
  21. I'll configure you something. Which games do you play the most? If I optimize the build for 1440p, how long will it be till you get a 1440p monitor? Quite a good system for a 1080p high refresh, well capable of 1080p 144Hz+. I would reconfigure it to better match 1440p gaming - a Ryzen 7500F or 7700, 6000 MHz RAM, a $50 AIR cooler like a Pearless Assassin 120 and a Radeon RX 7800XT or 7900 GRE.
  22. Some ports are completely covered this is so stupid

Unless you've got an old GM shit box, it's not an issue. You do put a little bit more strain on the alternator when charging from that low, but the vast majority of alternators are super overbuilt nowadays. Having had to jump my old car like 6 times (electrical issue, headlights would just randomly turn on in the middle of the night and drain the battery) some strange shit did start happening with electronics while driving, but it was already full of gremlins (disappearing oil, shifter not responding quickly, wildly inaccurate fuel economy gauge) and then at the end of its life it was like the electrical system was possessed with random things going on and off, bad flickering, and battery drain while driving. At least you'll know he has his phone. My brother was chronically unreachable for years. Either dead phone battery, or would leave it at home while going out, or forget it was in silent. I tried once with a lil guy from the local NAPA, and the battery was so dead that it couldn't even get a reliable reading to start trying to charge it.
