  1. Past hour
  2. Because my dad brought home a Compaq Portable II from the office and showed me it had games "installed" on it. Been into computers since then...
  3. @filpo@ulookuglynoobI was thinking that because the 7800xt will save me 200 bucks so I will only have to spend like 1.3k +a monitor then I could get a good monitor like https://zowie.benq.com/en-us/monitor/xl2546k.html and later down the like if I need I could upgrade to a 7900xtx
  4. whats integer scaling it helps? i seen 1080 in mine look bad than other 1080p monitors
  5. Well, gtx 1050 ti, gtx 1650, recently (wouldnt recommend, bad price) rtx 3050 6gb, rx 6400 and the list goes more, of course all i mentioned have low profile variants. I had a machine like this a while ago and learned my lesson that nothing that says i3 or i5 means good performance lol
  6. Go bios and do optimised defaults boot back in and check again if that fixes it ur ram xmp isn’t stable
  7. I live in noway and I don't think we have ewaste centers, also I'm thinking more ultra budget. The reason I'm asking is because I hear people are buying opti plexes and putting in a GPU, for a good budget PC
  8. One option would be to clear cmos with either a jumper or removing the battery for a while. Second are software options - https://www.wikihow.com/Enter-BIOS
  9. Just sounds like spam tbh. Maybe out of date discounts. AIOs have gotten cheap, wouldn't bother with it if they aren't putting out all the info you're looking for.
  10. Which GPU do you have and which resolution do you play at? A 5700X3D might be a bit easier on the motherboard.
  11. Because the MAC is the network interface identifier. It's set at the factory and often printed on the board somewhere But you can override it in OS
  12. I cannot enter the BIOS after enabling the fast boot option. What should I do?
  13. 5700X3D or 5800X3D Radeon 7900XT or RTX 4070 Ti Super A 800-1000W Quality PSU Keep the rest, and you don't actually need anything more. Maybe upgrading your peripherals, audio, TV?
  14. You've pulled the cooler and seen the paste spread evenly?
  15. It's just another Apple scheme to prevent parts from being used. They claim you can use them as long as they're not marked stolen, but they can simply say they're marked as stolen and come up with something like "Ask the original owner to take a picture of the receipt and send it to us and an operator will review it within 7 days" and now your third party repair service is dead, because nobody's gonna wait that long to have their screen repaired, and no original owner is gonna find their receipt and upload it or whatever... if you even know who sold their iphone as broken (for parts) Even if that works, you think their service won't magically get "under maintenance" periods or Apple will log whatever IPs request the most replacements and then come up with ways of raiding those places for illegal parts or for other reasons.
  16. Criticals and errors are what you're looking for Did you do this? Also, are you getting ZERO output? Not post screen? If so, try clearing CMOS And if it's really not outputting even the BIOS splash screen, do you have POST debug LEDs? Are you actually fully POSTed with no display or is it failing to POST?
  17. from his FB: So I don’t know if anyone on here watches my YouTube channel “The Home Pros” well my account was hacked along with my google account and they deleted my channel and have access to all the money I was making on YouTube, I’ve tried everything to recover my acct with no success, I have no idea what to do but if anyone has any insight or can help me in anyway I would appreciate that, I am willing to pay $ if I need to, this is a really bad gut wrenching feeling youtube channel id: UCrwks9lScCSAeEe_0xPpakQ Thanks Poly
  18. Cryorig, 1070, evga psu. That's a really solid find. Why would someone dump that?
  19. For office use yes, for gaming not good. Why for gaming isnt good? Not too upgradable and too slow: The best cpu in that socket is an i7-4770 which is...well...decent but not that good tbh The case is fully SFF (Small Form Factor) which means no rtx 4090 for you, and actually it uses low profile type of graphics cards, and for an rtx 4090, you would need a bigger wattage power supply, in which your case is like 240-250-260w which isnt enough...not even for a low profile rtx 4060. For that money...at least buy a big form factor computer, or just save up more if you are patient enough.
  20. That's weird, i have intel cpu and an nvidia gpu, and they both run slightly colder than on windows
  21. So i check if all my drivers / bios were up-to-date and yes. It may be the spec of my laptop that are locking the screen but the fact that it show in the windows pannel and nvidia graphic pannel that the screen is at 240hz is weird.
