  2. Anyone has a part list by any chance? I really like that case and it's a good budget.
  3. Budget (including currency): RTX 4070 (at most a RTX 4070 super) Country: Games, programs or workloads that it will be used for: Gaming Other details (existing parts lists, whether any peripherals are needed, what you're upgrading from, when you're going to buy, what resolution and refresh rate you want to play at, etc): Hello! I'm looking to buy either a 4070 or 4070 super however I'm more inclined to 4070 because it's a tiny bit cheaper. I wonder which one or ones of these are the best and or there are any should skip totally? The cheapest models in my country are 4070: 1. MSI GeForce RTX 4070 VENTUS 2X OC 2. Gigabyte GeForce RTX 4070 WINDFORCE 2X OC. For the cheapest 4070 super models it's 1. ASUS Dual GeForce RTX 4070 Super 12GB EVO 2. ZOTAC GAMING GeForce RTX 4070 SUPER Twin Edge 3. ZOTAC GAMING GeForce RTX 4070 SUPER Twin Edge OC 4. Gigabyte GeForce RTX 4070 Super Windforce OC HDMI 3xDP 12GB in my country the 4070 goes for cheapest $640 and the 4070 super $731. These are also the prices for the GPUs mentioned here on these lists
  4. The first parts of my mom’s new PC got here. Almost tempted to just use the stock cooler for now until I do eventually upgrade her to a K sku CPU (talking a couple years down the line). It’s a 12400F, like the only intel CPU that isn’t a nuclear reactor afaik. But also, been a hot minute since I built with an ATX board, forgot how big they are. My last few builds have all been Micro ATX or ITX
  5. I have a tube of Gelid something.. never got to use it because it was as hard as a rock in the tube. But to be fair it came with my Z77 OCFormula, and was already a decade old when I tried to use it
  6. Found a used PC offer with the seller attaching an image of a burn in test in Furmark specifications below Core: 2055MHz, mem: 1998Mhz, temp: 58c, GPU load: 97%, memory load: 95%, GPU power: 212W FPS: 102 (min 101, max 106, avg 102), 2560x1080 Does this mean the GPU is in a good and stable condition?

  8. I need help please read all of this. I have a problem with 2 out of the 4 RAM slots on my motherboard. I have a Gigabyte B550 UD AC motherboard. I'm also using OLOy DDR4 RAM 32GB 2x16GB Blade Aura Sync RGB 3600MHz CL18. If I put 1 stick in A1 and the other in B1 then turn the PC on it will stay on for a few seconds. Then turn off then turn itself back on. But it won't post. Also the same thing happens when I put a stick in A2 and the other in B2. I've also let it set there for over 20 minutes just in case it was doing memory learning or whatever. But it never did anything. Something else none of my other RGB in the case will turn on when all this is going on. Except for the RAMs RGB. Now if I put both sticks of RAM in slot A1 and A2 then turn it on all my RGB turns on it doesn't turn itself off and back on it just starts up and posts with no issue. I know the RAM is getting power because the RGB on the RAM will light up just the PC will not post unless both sticks are in A1 and A2. Someone please tell me anything?
  9. From what I'm able to find the cable should be able to do 32.4 Gbps (which would be HBR3). 1440p, 10 bpc, 240 Hz requires 30.77 Gbps, so the cable should be up for it. Maybe it was defective or the specs are plain wrong, but yeah you'll need a cable that supports HBR3 (cables are not versioned, they are rated by the maximum bandwidth they support, even if the version is often used for marketing purposes)
  10. 50 is the way to go if you need quantity.
  11. I'll get the 50, cause I'll be using it for other things too, just wanted to make sure, appreciate the help!
  12. That's typically the kind of games that won't run well on it, but it's $100 for the platform, anything new is $250+, I just say you can't get much better for the price unless you find a real good deal on a 2600X platform or such
  13. Yes, and putting someone in jail is not restricting freedom because they can still walk around in their little jail cell... For those wondering, censorship is defined as: or: Just because you have other ways of communicating something doesn't mean the act of taking options away isn't censorship. By that logic, China isn't censoring anything at all. Them banning certain words on websites? That's not censorship because people can still say those words in their own homes. It's a silly argument to make that shows a lack of understanding of the word. People said the same thing about books, movies, music, and so on.
  14. The microcenter nearby (2ish hours) is the one opening in Charlotte on the 8th of May. Can't check their stock prices yet as they're not live. I think I'll stick with am4 and use the extra funds to get a better monitor. Thank you for the build suggestions.
  15. IDK, I was getting actual slowdown in Elden Ring at launch. Don't think I could recommend chips that old at all.
  16. Write speeds are abysmal. Perhaps try another M.2 slot or just reseat the SSD. As the speeds on random end are slower than HDD would have.
  17. @Robchil okay, done... Anyone else got a few 14900ks or even 14900k they could test?
  18. Hello, I built a new pc at the end of last year. It has an only m.2 ssd crucial p3+ 2to where Windows 11 is installed. Ever since, only when i’m downloading larges files, typically a game (whatever the launcher) but not only (Windows downloading an update, Nvidia downloading a new pilot…), my computer freezes completely during 10 sec from time to time until the download is completed. Really annoying. In the task manager, process tab, disk usage cap at 50%. Won’t exceed 50%. Read somewhere it might be the problem. In performance tab, the disk is at 100% usage. I run CrystalDiskMark, my write speed are pretty low compared to read speed. I have read that it "could be normal after the ssd is half full" (Is that true ?). Currently have 747Go free of 1.81To. I disabled Write-caching policy. Crucial storage executive tells me the ssd is in good health and has the latest update. I force Gen4 on the M2_1 slot (where it is installed). Run chkdsk, sfc scannow on cmd, all good. What can I try to check next ?
  19. i5 2500 in a Dell Optiplex = 100% ewaste, don't buy this, refuse it even for free
  20. Propaganda bs, the US want to ban Tiktok just to piss off China, that does the same thing with Whatsapp and other apps That could come straight out from a Vault Tech rep in the Fallout series Or Militech vs Kuang Tao in Cyberpunk
  21. Yeah, I'll just grab the XMT50 then, lol, thank you. I was just curious cause my BB used to sell Arctic MX4 in store but now only have this Corsair stuff.
  22. Yes, I know how to repaste, I just need some more thermal paste and I need it fast lmao.
  23. I was so happy when I finally saw the AK-340107-100-S from AOC on my local shop (Allegro.pl) appear and did not pay any attention to it's specs, assuming it's gonna be fine, it's 2024 after all, everybody uses high refresh monitors, am I right? But no, it couldn't handle 240Hz @ 1440p in full 10-bit RGB, dammit, it couldn't even handle 120Hz and started resetting my monitor after a few hours of using it! So far my Samsung G7 is very happy set in DisplayPort 1.4 mode (this got me confused with the fiber one) with a DisplayPort 2.0 16K cable from YIWENTEC (DP16K-F0207) and 240Hz in 1440p at full RGB 10-bit range is no problem, but I was just looking around for a fiber one that's around 10m long so I could put my PC behind a wall in the next room. Any finds?
  24. Ok so I’ve decide to go with the hyperx haste wireless
  25. ~5C at max lower temps. I had 2-3. Thermalright LGA1700 one.
