    Game Server To-Go

Sure but what I'm shooting for is for a concept that can be done "because you can". I mean, of course there's going to be easier solutions to that (Minecraft and CSGO allow it, just to mention them).

    Thermaltake Level 20 GT

Anyone have the Thermaltake L20 GT? Looks really cool but it seems pretty big. I have a large desk but I don't want to go crazy, I like staying humble.

    Phanteks Bad Customer Service

The X just means placeholder for either 2 or 4, depending on 120mm or 140mm. I'd say Phanteks is slightly to blame for having confusing products. NewEgg might need to more accurately list the two different products as well. But, in either case, they both (The D and non-D versions) clearly list an adapter is required, on the Phanteks website. Anything not on the Phanteks website is the responsibility of the retailer.
  5. That's crazy. I have to question your application then. Or maybe the particular units you're using? Tripp Lite is top of the line. Hands down. I personally use an APC SmartUPS 1500VA. It's about 10 years old and still works flawlessly. Only had to replace the batteries once. Even Cyberpower, which is typically cheaper than APC or Tripp Lite, is usually pretty good too. When I used to install PBX's, we would also install the Cyberpower 1500VA and never had an issue with them.
  6. Ah poo, it is always the one you need you don't have! IBMs are solid, that thing will last you a good while I'm sure (not to mention ESXi is getting harder to install on older hardware - had to mount a disc image to update). Sorry to derail and go off topic, just love new hardware.

Fixing No Sound With Netflix Dolby via PCM

AFAIK that's what PCM is supposed to fix though, your TV would do th decoding and send raw audio to your Topping.
  9. Emoji support is the result of supporting all character and symbols for all the languages. Linux and MacOS support them. Microsoft was lagging behind. You actually need to go out of your way to remove support for emoji's. In addition, emoji are actually used in the industry. Usually used to show symbols from test results or some results on scripts running, and things like that.

    Optimization

Here is my build: Motherboard: Gigabyte Z370P-D3 CPU: Intel i3-8100 Coffee Lake (4 Cores @ 3.60GHz) GPU: MSI GeForce GTX 1050 2GT OC RAM: Ballistix Sport 2666MHz 8gb (16GB total, dual channel) Power Supply: EVGA 500W 80 Plus Certified Storage: Seagate Barracuda Compute 1TB Hard Drive So, my question is, what is your guys' opinion on the best BIOS settings to enable or disable for my build? I want it to be as fast as possible, the activities I use it for is occasional gaming (Warframe & CSGO), and I am trying to develop my own chatbot using python and want to be able to make the database & training data as fast as possible as well as actually training the model using Tensorflow (The GPU version). I am not able to buy an SSD although I know that would drastically speed up the process (the problems of being broke as a joke). Thermals are not an issue as I have a hyper 212 evo cpu cooler with dual fans installed, as well as the dual fan version of the GTX 1050. Any help with other things other than the BIOS would be greatly appreciated as I do not want to wait months (may be an exaggeration) to train the model. Any help with things like tightening the timings for my ram and messing with it's voltage or anything else would be great. However, the CPU I have has a max RAM frequency of 2400MHz so overclocking the RAM's frequency wouldn't do much as far as I know so I'm focused on timings and maybe frequency. The data I am using is from a post on reddit where the creator posted a dataset for all of the publicly available comments from 2007-2015 here on reddit. The total number of comments in the entire collection is 1.7 Billion. I am using this data to filter through those files and create a database containing specific information organized in a specific way in a table. If you are curious to know exactly what I am doing, I am sort of following along with sentdex's tutorial on youtube or you can comment below or shoot me a pm and I'd be happy to explain. Note: I am not including Sentdex's youtube video to promote his channel (but huge thanks to him) it is just in case people are wondering exactly what I am trying to optimize. Thanks!

________BREAKING NEWS________ A white hyperactive Lesbian has sexually herassed employees in a mobile Store and asked them about their sexual preferences and harassed and coerced them with his Orange screwdriver, which resembles a dildo. In addition, he has fidgeted wildly with four smartphones in the air and threatened the employees if they don't tell him all the secrets about the new 5G technology and the phones, in the end, of course, he dropped all of them (including the employees).

    Latest laptops

What @GeneXiS_X said is though majorly true. I still think the razer blade's are good options, but keep in mind the blade 15 often gets very loud. Meanwhile the only stealth with 512gb space is $1800 but you can get it for less than $1400 from amazon warehouse which guarantees you returns and warranties. I forgot to tell you about the acer predator triton 500, most reviewers have said it to be the rtx laptop with the best bang for your buck.

    Phanteks Bad Customer Service

The model number I purchased from Newegg doesn't even appear on their website. It would appear Phanteks is to blame for this, as I suspected. The one I purchased is supposedly this one. The model number is different though, I purchased PH-FF120DRGBP_BK01 but Phanteks calls it PH-FF1X0DRGBP. As you can see it doesn't include the BK01 that I got from Newegg. Also on the Phanteks website they show both models! Phanteks shows the 4-pin in the first picture, but the last picture shows what I received(3-pin model with no way to hook up)
  17. Hi all! I'm trying to clean up my dad's workflow at his small business. He receives items to refurbish and currently manages all invoicing with Excel and macros, using Zed Axis to import to QuickBooks. I'm hoping to switch his storage to Microsoft Access using Azure. Can I import this data from a database to QuickBooks Desktop without going through QuickBooks Online or using a GUI application like Zed Axis or other import products? Thanks in advance.

Is it ok to Format a C SSD?

Well.. You're suppose to use an SSD.. Not baby it, so yeah of course a format is okay. Plus, even the worst SSD's on the market can withstand up to 150TB written to it, with better ones twice that (and even more on higher capacity drives).

    AIO vs lots of fans+aircooler

So I have a story on this. My teenager just had a bday and he wanted a new RGB case with mouse/keyboard also RGB. I let him pick out a case, but the problem was it only supported the 240mm h220x he was using in the front. He also went from a full to mid tower. It all installed but wasn't happy with the fans on the front and also with the tubing length. I had a DH-14 sitting around so I tossed it in. I did try a 30 min stress test on both. The DH-14 was only about 2-3c warmer than the 240mm swiftech setup. Now this could have been because the swiftech was air starved. Anyways the noctua cooler is quieter than the pump on the h220x was (bubbles kept getting sucked in to pump from the front mount orientation) Anyways my point is that an AIO can have a slight temp lead, but the real gains are on the custom loop side.

Is it ok to Format a C SSD?

Do a quick format and reinstall over the newly formatted drive. This way only 1 write cycle is used up.

No, a quick format isn't going to harm anything.

That's a good price for it, I would say worth the buy. Since your upgrade is so long from now, expect this to be subject to change. pricing may yet become more favorable.
