  2. Budget (including currency): not really sure just looking to see what i can do Country: uk Games, programs or workloads that it will be used for: would like 4k gaming with rtx if possible Other details (existing parts lists, whether any peripherals are needed, what you're upgrading from, when you're going to buy, what resolution and refresh rate you want to play at, etc): hey i have a pc i built quite a few years ago and was wondering whether its worth upgrading it or just buying a whole new pc id mainly like 4k gaming with rtx doesnt need to be really high end these are my current specs on pc part picker https://uk.pcpartpicker.com/user/gmuzzy09/saved/YLy98d
  3. Firstly, wouldn't it have been easier to just ask the question to begin with? Secondly, this clearly should be in the Networking forum not General Discussion.
  4. I have tried both with no change
  5. Thanks. I'll first try the bios and then go into device manager.
  6. Genuinly just buy a used gaming desktop. 500$ is plenty good to get a GOOD gaming pc used. This optiplex is going to be TERRIBLE as it has a super slow old i3 its never going to be good for gaming eith that and the replacement i7's for that gen are stupud expensive for something that gets its ass handed to it by todays low end cpu's. Return this box or sell it and make a build your own post This is a moneysink that will cost you more to get a crappy pc than just start over.
  7. Check the PSU cables then, because if you didn't use the PSU's cables it came with, this might happen.
  8. System is stable but is this difference in Tctl/Tdie and Average temps because my 3rd core clocked higher and had a sudden spike in temps for a few seconds? Core 3 and 5 are my best and second best cores and they sustain the 4.65Ghz speed for the longest as is evident from the average clock speeds across all cores.
  9. Well, sucks for NVidia, they were on my 'no buy' list, now they're staying there forever.
  10. Should I be worried that Win10 is soon to be end of life?
  11. Motherboard: ASUS TUF GAMING B450M-PLUS II CPU: Ryzen 5 5600G Bluetooth/WiFi card: TP-Link AC1200 Archer T5E OS: Windows 10 22H2 I downloaded the latest drivers I could find for the Bluetooth card and Realtek drivers from Asus yet it made no difference. Further more, I tried the headset on an old Windows 10 laptop that I have lying around and it didn't make that noise either (even though it was a bit staticky still). By the way, thanks for your help so far. Any other ideas?
  12. Poinkachu

Now for only 999.99 per day!

Until you see some isekais that put the MC in a very very terrible condition.
  13. I'm guessing you didn't hear the news. Nvidia took the ban hammer to that effort last month. The ZLUDA translation layer is really hurting now, because all the major support for it has been pulled as a result - both AMD and Intel are no longer interested. The only long-term solution is to move software away from CUDA and towards open standards.
  14. Another guy falling in the Dell Optitrap... Look at the PSU, 240W or so, there should not be any Pcie cable to plug in a GPU, so you can only use crappy GPU that only needs PCie slot power : 3050, 1650, 6400XT...
  15. idk just looking for a gpu under $500
  16. Any reasonably modern motherboard can accept any reasonably modern PCIe GPU. Issue with prebuilts is more commonly the powersupply and lack of cables. And that budget would be?
  17. Has anyone here visited Canada from the UK and used public transit? Curious how the seat sizing compares.

  18. I have checked that, it isn't that.
  19. Hi, I have an older relative who actively uses a Walker with a Bag and a Cage-style Basket with a Lid as a table. The original design had very flimsy metal wire-looking hooks that went around the knob screws that tightened the height of the handlebars: This broke like a few days after purchase on one side, with the other side begging to break, which eventually too broke off. She uses it quite regularly for coats, drinks, and sometimes as a table for eating when sitting outside. Therefore, a solution needs to be strong and firm. Our current way of attaching it is simply to tie it around the sides of the handlebar and at the bottom. It's strong and steady but there's a problem, when she needs to get into a taxi or a bus, it cannot be folded up. Does anyone have a recommendation or idea on attaching and reattaching quickly, while having it firm and steady when attached? 3D printing seems like a clear choice, but I have no 3D modeling experience nor any ideas on what to 3D print for attaching it. Link to the product that was purchased: https://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B01MXSUKX5 The knob that is used to tighten looks like this:
  20. Isn't there a project reverse engineering CUDA for AMD? Or is that just for Linux?
  21. I bought a dell Optiplex 5050 core i3 7th gen 16 gigs of ram windows 10 home and 250 ssd idk much about it but i know the motherboard model is a dell Oem i just want to know if i can install any type of gpu iam thinking of a evga nvidia geforce gtx 1060 6gb but iam not sure and plss tell me if i could upgrade anything but keep in mind iam on a budget
  22. I'm in the middle of conversations with them, but I'm not making headway with their support yet. That is why I am here seeing 3rd party support at this point.
