    Build for a friend..Need help!!

Can you give the model of the motherboard? Also change the PSU to a corsair CX450, Watercooler is absolutely not necessary, the cooler that comes with the processor is good enough, More info needed about the ram, how much ram, and is it a single stick, or 2 sticks? Optional: 480gb SSD's are already really cheap, so i would go for a 480gb ssd.

If I have an ATX board and CPU Cooler under the maximum recommended for C which one is better? If it's too big for my system are there any negatives?

    PC build (australia)

hey guys and gals, currently looking at a pc build and this is where im at with what parts that i want. i currently game on a acer helios predator 300 and it has its known issues and gets extremely hot still even after changing the thermal paste. CASE: MSI Bunker MiDi MOBO: B450 gaming pro carbon ac CORE: AMD Ryzen 7 2700 RAM: team dark 4gb x 2 (2666mhz) GPU: MSI AERO 1070 8gb SSD: ADATA SU800 256gb HDD: Seagate Barracuda 2tb POWER: smart power RGB 650W OS: windows 10 pro 64bit Cooling: has 4 fans on the build but can add more if/where required (extra cost) speaking to a builder (which has warranty etc) theyre looking at around $2400 (AUD) now obviously they're cheaper to buy online and build yourself etc however im after the warranty aspect of it plus have spoken to them about upgrades etc in the future with potential buyback/cheaper upgrades as theyre able to make some money back selling my current parts off is this a decent build? games i play are apex and BFV aswell as occasionally GTAV, but do have plans to play others in the near future, is this an easily outdated system or will it stay strong for a few years to come? cheers
  8. Just dual boot it, alot better than there option. I got NVME with Windows 10 and SATA SSD with MacOS Majove
  9. As I expected, my new AORUS AD27QD monitor just got added to Nvidia's official "G-Sync Compatible" monitor list!

Good Case for Airflow and Cable Management

All of the Fractal cases have very similar cable management benefits, with rubber grommets all over the motherboard tray for easy routing, and multiple anchor points on the back along with built-in ties to keep everything bundled neatly. The Meshify series (Meshify C, S2) have the best airflow out of them because of the mesh front panel vs a solid one that allow for better intake.
  14. So my friend who's new to building PCs wants a Gaming PC and proposed this build to me and I need help with this ,for a couple of reasons;one-The mistakes in s plan,two-Ways to cheap-en the build,three-suggestions to improve the build, and lastly I to also know if combining a GTX 1050 Ti and Ryzen 5 2400G in a crossfire mobo is ideal or is there any other suggestion... Also sorry in advance for some of the more obvious mistakes of his.. Corsair hydro cw 9060036 liquid cpu cooler GALAX GeForce GTX 1050 ti Antec P7 Gaming Micro ATX Mid Tower Computer Case Corsair VS450 450 Watt Power Supply Corsair Vengeance LPX DDR4 3000mhz MSI Preformance Gaming AMD Ryzen 1st and 2nd Gen AM4 Crossfire ATX Motherboard Kingston SSD A400 240 gb internal solid state drive AMD Ryzen 2400g Processor with radeon RX Vega 11 Graphics Windows 10

Good Case for Airflow and Cable Management

Too me I can spend 200$ even $250 if the case is worth it. I dont care too much about looks more about airflow and the other stuff I said. What makes Meshify C so good?
  16. Does ASROCK Z370 Killer SLI support i5 9400f CPU?

  20. Apple has no problem using a separate modem in their phones. They have done so for 10+ so I don't think they'll have a problem doing so for another few years.

    Dumb and wrong ad.
  22. I just put together my first "real" system that I build everything myself. Ryzen 5 2600X ASUS Prime X470-Pro 16gb 3000mhz corsair vengence RAM I tried to get the RAM to run at their full speed by turning on D.O.C.P because I've heard that's how you're supposed to do it, but it won't boot to Windows. I also tried turning off D.O.C.P and changing the RAM speed and voltage myself to 3000Mhz, 1.35 but that also doesn't work. The only way I can boot to Windows is to use the default settings. I also made sure that I have the latest BIOS. I have no experience doing this kind of thing at all so I don't want to mess with anything. Any help would be much appreciated.
  23. There are two motherboards that I'm looking at one is the Gigabyte b450 aorus elite and the other is the Asus Tuf x470-plus gaming. Both of them are around the 70$ mark, the Asus mobo is an open box one(however it comes with the io shield and other stuff and normal manufacturer warranty) Which one should I get, btw I have a 1700x and RTX 2070.

    The "GTFO" IDK WTF Build.

I couldn’t work there. Waaaaaay too cluttered
  25. the video sucks enormously the reason why they use 1070 and sierra is sierra and Pascal archetecture are the last officially supported by nvidia NVIDIA officially stopped supporting web drivers for mac - due to open gl depreciation and new metal apis - tooooooo much work to support it and not much to gain https://vulgo.github.io/nvidia-drivers/ - no mojave or 20x0 drivers and there are a lot of topics on it I have been living on a hackintosh for last 5 years and had to buy amd gpu to work on mojave... this is your only valid option unfortunately
  26. M.2 to PCIe adapters are available, https://www.amazon.com/dp/B073KZW1ZC/ref=sspa_dk_detail_4?psc=1 But a mini ITX case will only have dual rear slots for a GPU, you could use a riser cable and create your own custom mount for the wireless card but stepping up to a mATX system would be so much easier.
