    Video Outputs

so im going to get a rtx 2060, i also want to stream with a Elgato HD60 Pro, can i have my Display Port running to my Monitor displaying whatever im doing (game being played) and also have another output (hdmi) running to my HD60 Pro the same content that is on my monitor, so i dont have to passthrough hdmi to hd60 to monitor. I could just use the New nvenc but is it really that good if i dont want it to impact ANY performance

970 EVO or 970 PRO? completely different models, one can sustain realistic transfer speeds at 400-500~, while the other can do much higher

    Server for website hosting

Slower internet speeds leading to downtime. It might actually be against your ISPs terms of use. Servers are loud. Your IP may be blocked overseas. If you aren't on a Tier 1 ISP, poor peering can lead to lower SEO. Power outages. I don't anticipate you investing in multi-thousand dollar batteries. Etc. Etc. Etc.

    NEW PSU Tier List

Today I used a Vega on a be quiet Pure Power 10, 400W. A Vega 64 to be precise. Though not on default configuration but with -23% and went down a power state or two and reduced the voltage by 50mV as well. Was at around 400W Primary, worked splendidly. The Only Issues I have Encounterd were: a) Totally expected -> Bitfenix Formula 450W (single Rail for the GPU, works with two though) b) Delta DPS 500QB, two rails for the GPU but at 20A or so. And I don't want to mod that unit either. c) Seasonic P660... Because there are other differences between lower tier/cost PSU and higher cost/tier PSU like used fan for example or noise. The Fans in the lower end are, if you're lucky, rifle Bearing at best. In the higher end you get real FDB here and there.

    970 EVO running slow, advice?

My new 970 EVO PRO has been running in write = to my 850 EVO with only 400-500 mb/s peaks while it is advertised to hit 2500mb/s at max. I have XMP profiles enabled however i do not believe it gets utilized as my RAM speeds were the same before and after enabling, after some reading it seems this could be an issue to why my 970 EVO is running slow? It won't be subject to thermal throttling as my PC runs in very low temp ranges, especially when idle. I just can't put my finger on why it is running so slowly for everything, any advice would be great.

    Authentication fail #9

Well did you install LG drivers and boot into Download Mode?
  17. @Galm - yeah this is true so tomorrow I will return mine as the "first batch" of RTX 2080 has some issues, is not even the GPU but other power delivery components which are causing the problem, I saw ppl with their 2080 not even hitting 80C blowing up in smokes, so I requested a refund/return in the last day as for 3000$ payed I don't want to take any chances (yes I know I have warranty but why I should be punished for their mistakes) Overall laptop is amazing as owner of so many different "desktop replacements" - is truly a beauty, all my previous concerns are basically fixed in this model, but considering the mistake of considering users part of their QA team, makes the laptop (at least until Dell admits the flaw and start replace the bad units) a time bomb. Will keep posted here ... with the progress.

    Changing OS to lineage OS

Yes you will get a performance boost because LineageOS is bare bones, but be aware security/privacy goes out the window when you switch to LineageOS, not because LineageOS doesn't have security updates or whatever, but because of the unsafe Bootloader and assuming you're using TWRP, anyone can boot into TWRP and take off all your data without booting into the OS, and also if your phone is lost, you can't remotely wipe your phone, but I have no clue if TWRP has fixed those issues, i'm just talking from experience about 2 years ago, If you could find a LineageOS Bootloader that would be safer, but I don't think they do those anymore?, they used to on Cyanogenmod, this is just so you're aware of what you're getting yourself into, do your own research anyway I think it has to be the same exact model or else LineageOS will reject the installation, the models you listed have an Intel Atom CPU, while yours has a snapdragon 400, completely different architecture

    Bottlenecking with I5-3330

maybe , depends heavily on what workload you throw at it. you shall see shutter when it bottlenecks. any way, get best gpuyou can afford for your target fps/ resolution. when it shutter too bad and un bearable, then upgrade the other parts

    Bottlenecking with I5-3330

your processor will bottleneck the graphics card sometimes. What games will you play? It depends.
  22. Hiya!

    Changing OS to lineage OS

From my experience it's yes and no. if it doesn't refuse to install in the installation process then yes you can but there is a chance that you will run into issues. There are tons of custom rom for your phone and changing your os can help but it won't dramatically increase the performance. So manage your expectations.

    DRM free question

Uhh... what? That's a direct contradiction... "You don't have to log in to authenticate" --> "You had to verify you actually purchased the game" How does one verify a digital purchase without authentication? GOG Galaxy is still ENTIRELY optional. Why people think it's required is beyond me. And the GOG/Galaxy account doesn't verify what you have, it just gives you access to your library.
