  2. Name of Brand: WhatNot Description of your issue: Email Spam Have you tried solving your issue through the brand's customer support channel? If so, what was the result? No, but I didn't ask for emails in the first place, especially for What would an ideal resolution of your issue look like? Not sending every customer an email every day Again I don't think you guys shouldn't work with them, raising money for kids was great, I am just annoyed I'm getting more than 1 email for a service I didn't even sign up for past the first step.

Conclusion: My phone can do that.

Conclusion: No one actually needs any of these features that this offers, whether a smartphone can do them too or not. Get a Casio F-91W. The only piece of wearable tech you will actually need.
  4. Thats not how warranties work. thats not how a company survives for two decades.

The EU just approved a "right to repair" bill!…

    damn woke pronoun computers
  6. I tested another apk file and it also doesn't work
  7. I forget, does the 3600x have a built in igpu? You only need a GPU to set up the OS… so if it has one, you’re good to go. If not, you need some way to get display out at least to instal the OS. What OS do you plan to use..?
  8. It's also a question of scale. Getting censored on this forum has very little impact. If however let's say Google started using their power to restrict what websites could write about them then it would be a big deal, even though it's a "private platform". The more power you got, the more people get affected, and the type of thing that gets censored are all very important aspects to determine if the censorship is harmful. One person being censored for posting let's say nude images on a tech forum is not an issue. Google trying to cover up some illegal act by threatening websites that talk about it to cut off their ad revenue for example would be an issue, even though "it's a private company". I don't think you intended your post this way, but a lot of people on this forum seem to use "private company" as an excuse to allow any and all behavior, which I think is wrong. Just because you are a private company doesn't mean you can (or should) act however you want. There are still things that can be illegal and/or morally wrong to do.
  9. I went through three different Windows tablets over a 5-6 year span before I gave up on the concept and bought a convertible laptop. Dell Venue 8 Pro ($200-ish): Win8 on 2GB of RAM was horrible. Screen got really discolored for some reason. Microsoft Surface Pro 2 ($500-ish used): the battery management died so it always reported a full battery. Asus Transformer T102HA ($300-ish): the CMOS battery died, so the clock wouldn't stay synchronized when it went to "sleep".
  10. Some info is still lacking, what will it be used for? I mean with the info provided so far, any will do. Or maybe you'd be better off going with something a bit different. I personally went with a Tiny / 1L PC. ( Lenovo M720q ), so it doesn't even have a motherboard form factor (mobo is more like something you'd find in a laptop). One NVMe, one internal 2.5" HDD, and two external (via USB 3) HDDs. Cheap, takes up very little space, quiet, sips power, and the i3 9100T & 64GB of RAM is plenty powerful to run: NAS + Jellyfin (with transcoding) + qBittorent + VPN + DNS + Nextcloud + Gitea + Redmine + RustDesk + 5 more containers for various other small projects. Not everything has active users/clients at the same time, and it is a small number of concurrent users (like 2 max for Jellyfin, 1 Rustdesk..). If I needed a home server for AI image generation it would have been a completely different story.
  11. Cpu: I5 8400 Motherboard: H370 Aorus gaming 3 Ram: 16gb DDR4 2400mhz I have 2 nvme "XPG Spectrix S40G Gen3x4(3500mb/s reading 3000mb/s writting, this one have windows installed)" And "Adata Legend 800 Gen 3x2(3500mb/s reading 2800mb/s writting but i have it limited by a x2 slot to 1500mb/s and 1500mb/s)" A few days ago I noticed some slowdowns in games when loading maps or even images of objects, so I started testing with crystal disk mark and saw that they were working with very low reading and writing speeds. Both nvme I try EVERYTHING, Download the adata toolbox and do trim, delete stuff, Reset bios, Update windows 10 to windows 11, change powerplan to performance(on w11 i can't change it). The limitation of the Legends 800 has been solved and it is now working at 1600mb/s reading and 1500mb/s writing, but the xpg is still limited I don't know what to do and I'm worried, I don't think the nvme is dying, it has 28tb written and crystal disk info show everyting is ok. The maximum temperature reached working at 100% is 42cº
  12. if you have to ask, form factor is irrelevant, you shop for what motherboard is able to hold the things you want to plug into it.

  14. Oh god... XPS M1730. I'm an old hardware collector and my three biggest regrets are all XPS laptops: M2010, M1710, and M1530. XPS M2010 is a complete piece of trash. It features the only combination worse than orange juice and toothpaste: Proprietary parts that are also unreliable. Optical drive is near impossible to find a replacement for, and the GPU is $160+ for a working replacement - and both are known to break frequently. Finding good batteries for it will also be a few hundred dollars, since the freakin keyboard needs a battery connected to even work in the first place. XPS M1710, similar situation. Only a few compatible GPUs since Dell didn't use the standard MXM slot. Original 7950 Go GTX died within a week of me getting the laptop used, had to buy a Quadro card. M1530, almost tripled the price I paid for the laptop with a motherboard replacement, again a dead GPU. ATI 4870 X2 was another huge regret. Paid over a hundred for a card that was immediately killed by the motherboard, which I didn't know was bad at the time. Same board was later struck down by an exploding soundcard, that also cost me a fair bit but was a funny bit of retribution.
  15. Have you checked task manager what is being used like disk io any behaviour. And just be safe go to steam website and confirm legitimately by using google and avoid sponsor then get new setup file and try again. Is there anything on event manager? Steam logs maybe? Like something is going on. Was it used hard drive?
  16. no the cable from the psu to the gpu
  17. @GrumpyCrawdad9 Did you find a solution to your problem? We have a server at a corporation and they won't give us access except with a Wifi (cell) adapter connected. But it stops the connection to the Ethernet once the adapter is connected. So we can TeamViewer in with the WiFi adapter, but the server stops sending information to the database because it can't see it. I actually think it cant resolve the names because its using the wrong gateway. I just blanked out the gateway on the WiFi adapter and I got kicked. So that didn't work.
  18. bought my first watercooling setup including a special Cathar water block. it leaked and killed my GPU. Had to sell the water cooling to buy a new GPU.
  19. I don't understand what any of this means, can you elaborate? Can you tell me what software to use and what even is a preboot environment?

Tim Apple: "OK, we need a cooler for our MacBoo…

More or less, I'd say. If it's well designed, I see no problem with it. (The example given here is not well designed) It CAN work just fine, if well-designed. If the rest of the heatsink is adequate, there's no issues.
  21. Now I got it working as intended. Put my tree high spec monitors on my GPU one 144 hz 24 inc, one 165 hz 27 inc and then my new 360 hz 27 inc and then on my IGPU i put my two low spec 60 hz 24 inc 1080p
  22. The Riley EK clip sets the standard for how to "update" a video after filming with context. Great job from the editing team, the little touches of static really make it great.
