    Static noises on Front Jack?

There are a lot of factors in play here: The quality of the port The distance between the front port to the motherboard The quality of the cable between the motherboard to the front port There is more but those are the most likely to cause this. It looks like it won't be an easy fix.

Corsair ML120 Pro PWM VS Noctua NF-S12A PWM

Thank you both for your replies. My current case is an NZXT S340 Elite having availability for 2 x 120/140mm front intakes, 120/140mm top mounted exhaust, and a 120mm rear exhaust. I am purchasing a Corsair H100i AIO and placing the radiator at the front of the case leaving me the 2 exhaust fan placements at the rear of the case. I am either going to (after deciding on one of these fans) place 2 of them at either of the exhaust positions OR place 2 at either exhaust positions as well as replace the stock Cosair fans that come with the AIO as I have heard that these are not too quiet. Essentially my priorities are as above and to create positive air pressure even if it is in the slightest, whilst maintaining a relatively quiet build.
  8. it needs to be for school so gaming is not something it needs to be able to do right? because having a good usable touchscreen is rare on low prices laptops you should probably look into a surface pro with a type cover.

  16. Most of the PSUs are fine, unless you put power hungry parts on it. I ran a diablotek PSU for around 1year in my 2200g system which I sold 2 months ago.

GPU heating up whilst idle for no apparent reason

The card isnt even a year old yet.. Also that void's warranty here in europe. Just want to make sure that its not something I can fix, before maybe needing to send it back.

    Lavalier mic only recording static

I am using a lavalier mic and when I am connecting that in my pc mic jack its not recording any audio and when I use recorder its only a buzz like static sound. I've tried all the basic troubleshooting (like giving permission, driver update and reinstall etc) available on internet but nothing seems to work. Also mic is completely fine as it records audio in mobile and laptop with Win10.

I use 1600 and will use 1600 for a many years. Its best to find one setting and get used to it. I picked it over 400 and 800 because i dont play at a low res so pixel skipping isnt an issue.

    Any better without ?
  24. I used Quadro cards for the improved anti aliasing in Opengl viewports. All my rendering was CPU so I did not use the cards for anything else. When my modeling jobs became less intricate I used GTX cards. I used a i7 2600k(2 of them) for 3D modeling from 2011 to 2018. The last card I used with it was a GTX 1080 ti and I had no issues with it. If you only use the computer for 3D modelling and support programs a Quadro card would be better. If you would like to play games as well the 2080 would be better. Since I always liked to play a game after work the 2080S would be my choice.
