  2. Oh thank you! Didn't know there was a local version, that's real good to know. Picking the parts for me was mostly not taking the cheapest option and taking brands I've heard the names of before lol. You picked a less expensive version of the 4060 ti, is it not enough difference between the two not to spend the extra bit of money?
  3. OK. I suppose it it best not being err recovering from the previous night when replying. Anyway I have been playing around with zerotier more. I plan to have my router as the only machine on the home network connected to it (opnsense). Appropriate ports will be forwarded to a virtual machine with reverse proxy manager (nginx) - then on to services I want to access (https) It is possible to add routes to the your home network it seems, from within zerotier. I also expect within tailscale as well. There are claims that no data is collected by zerotier. It is probably the same with tailscale. I DO NOT TRUST THEM. I am using truenas scale at home, with standard windows shares. Your NAS does the same I assume. I intend to access windows shares through a key only secure shell access through the zerotier network (to the Virtual machine), with the appropriate port forwards to the NAS.

I hated broccoli's taste so much when not too many years ago, still it's taste today doesn't really resonate with me, just doesn't taste disgusting anymore.
  5. Honestly decent build, though I'd fix the RAM issue, you can buy significantly lower latency ram than you currently have, either CL30 6000Mhz or what I have on my slightly altered list, you also probably want a better motherboard, while the one you have isn't bad it's nothing great, the Gigabyte A620M Gaming X AX has: 5+2+2 power design The MSI B650-S WIFI has: 12+2+1 power design (which is overkill, but why should you get stuck on weaker MB on already overkill build?) The MSI also has 2 8pin power connectors for CPU instead of one, despite the current AM5 only needing one it's a nice to have and maybe contributes for more fluid power management? (I might be making this last part up) And finally SSD, I included slightly more expensive NVME that should be more worth it's price, the P3 Plus isn't anything slow, but they do tend to fall back in sequential tasks that handle large files, regardless of their rated speed. >Be me >Love mathematics >takes Mathematics at…

The TI-59 calculator from '79 takes about as long to plot a graph as a human would to draw one out.
  7. Yeah so I think the Liquid Freezer III comes with one. https://www.arctic.de/en/Liquid-Freezer-III-360/ACFRE00136A#:~:text=Contact Frame for Intel LGA1700 and LGA1851
  8. You're not going to get HDR monitor for cheap. Need that HDR1000 rating at least so it's HDR1000+ rated LCD monitors that are obscenely expensive, imo a waste or OLED monitor.
  9. yeah, I know that. I don’t want them to force me to though. They already make me enter my password every day to tell it to not update, and I don’t want it to be taken to that page every other time I launch the app.
  10. yeah i have 2 years of production warranty. but strangely enough does this not happen when i’m plugged into the 200W charger, so i still have no clue what may have caused it. i’ll hit up the support later. thank you so much for your help.
  11. Do you have any DRAM gen 4 recommendations or should I just go for the NM620 given my budget? I most likely won't tell the difference anyway so I would prefer longevity. Thanks for the advice.
  12. Don't use those, they're absolutely useless. Bottlenecks are always present, and they change from one application to another (also, they are way less of a problem than you might think)
  13. If you don't benefit from max throuput these new SSDs can do like editing and so, no current reason to get. Games currently are not fully utilizing SSDs yet. Depends on local prices, maybe if some sale is on or it's not too much more.
  14. More Joe Cocker stuffs... not the best singer, but compression / compressors going crazy... lol when she shouts into the chorus away from mic... she likely has a good setup.
  15. Yes bottleneck calculators are useless. Its a fine setup
  16. personally, I don’t care what they’re doing it for, as long as they’re banning TikTok. that app has next to no redeeming value except to entertain, but I think the negatives of using something like that outweigh the positives. Sure, you could use the app to learn but, as we’ve seen time and time again from LTT’s and other tech creators’ videos about TikToks, there’s more false information that true information on that platform. EDIT: “free speech” (as it was originally intended) does not mean getting to say whatever things you want. It means freedom to speak out against the government without getting arrested. And as anyone who’s been on this forum knows, no mods ban speaking against LMG. It doesn’t mean getting to say whatever random stuff you want.
  17. I see its already been recommended but liquid freezer II or III would be the way to go. Also get a contact frame makes a hude difference for temps too as the lga1700 socket is prone to bending which causes bad contact with a cooler and thus bad temps
  18. I'm not sure if I am putting this in the wrong place but I went on a bottleneck calculator but I got confused. Whenever I did it I put the purpose to gaming (graphic intense task) and it told me 0% but if I clicked the games section and put in Minecraft it said around 45% so I'm lost and Just from peoples personal experience is the AMD Ryzen 5 5600x with the 7600xt a good combo?
  19. with the US election on the horizon and flood of annoying ads that we’ll see, I’m sure most people are just gonna get premium anyway
  20. Any of those is very good, if you can get a god deal one, yeah cool.
  21. I am running a 5800X3D and 4070 Super on a Corsair RM650x I recommend watching this video with emphasis from 08:15 onwards, and comparing the price of the GRE to what it can compete against
