Show off your old and retro computer parts

I used to have an iPod Classic, and the feeling of the drive spinning up to change songs was awesome! I miss that lil' device.

    Do I need 750W or 650W PSU?

Very few brands are available here offline and online. These brands are available here : Antec, Cooler Master, Corsair, DeepCool, and Thermaltake. Other 2-3 brands don't have those PSUs.

If you're going with that case, then you should get this motherboard instead (or something similar): https://www.komplett.se/product/1079927/datorutrustning/datorkomponenter/moderkort/amd-socket/msi-b450-gaming-plus-socket-am4# No need for RGB on a motherboard if your case wont show it off.

What reason do people do 2 2080ti?

I have a 2080Ti and from what I can assume, it is either to improve performance in certain games in 4K resolution... Or if you're a hard core enthusiast and have money to spend, why not I guess. I personally thought about getting a second 2080Ti ( I have the FTW3 Ultra version) and for the money I'd have to drop, not worth the extra performance you gain, at least not for me. I am content playing 3440x1440 games on ultra settings and it runs well above 60FPS, usually closer to 100FPS in most games with the exception of a few AAA games that drop to 70~ FPS in really intense areas. For this reason, its hard to justify, but hey, everyone has their reasons :)

    Ryzen 3 1200, board + memory help

You will want dual channel so you'll need to buy (2) 4GB sticks. G Skill Ripjaws is good RAM. The link below is for 2666mhz but 2400mhz is fine if you want to save a few bucks and maybe overclock it yourself. https://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16820231890&Description=ddr4 ram&ignorebbr=1&cm_re=ddr4_ram-_-20-231-890-_-Product

    Which GPU for my PSU?

It's not entirely accurate, but PCPartpicker has a power consumption calculator built into it. Plug your specific gear in and see what it says. That said it's rarely advised to max out a PSU. Most people say 50-60% use is optimal. So really a $40 PSU on a sale might be a good buy down the line. Brand nuts aside, either card would do fine, and if you don't do heavy gaming, the 1660 would be fine. But for that little extra, I'd just go in on either the Vega or the 1660Ti and have a little more future security.

Will this case led fans work with my MoBo?

So should I just change to another case? or all cases won't work?
  19. Again. There is no need to connect the two GPUs. In ML they can do both different tasks. You assign which GPU has to do what. They use different data and different logic at the same time. But they do not have to talk to each other. Only to CPU and for that I went up to X470 mobo.

    Do I need 750W or 650W PSU?

this system could run off even a 450w unit if it's a good one. What are the best units from around the 500w~650w margin you can afford? list your options to us and we can tell you which one is the better pick.

Rate my build and recommend stuff

Right now not. But that will change in a Month or so at Computex, when its rumored that AMD might release their 7nm products, it will change. It really makes no sense to recommend a 500€ CPU right now and not wait for the 7nm AMD Products. If it would have been reversed, you would have waited, wouldn't you??

    Can you help me pick?

Yeah... 32" and 1080p would be a terrible experience IMO.
  25. Hi, I built a system 4 years ago and a few days ago my PSU(Corsair CX750) failed. I need to purchase a new PSU for my system. My friend mentioned that I don't need 750W PSU and added that my system will run very well with 650W PSU. So here I am asking you experts to guide me please. Which PSU I should buy? System specifications:- CPU : Intel core i7 4790K CPU Cooler : Corsair Hydro H60 Motherboard : Asus Z97-A RAM : Corsair Vengeance 8 GB DDR3 x 4 = 32 GB Storage: 2 SSD + 1 TB 7200 rpm HDD GPU: GTX 970 Optical Drive: DVD-RW Monitor : 22inch LED monitor PC Part Picker Link : https://in.pcpartpicker.com/list/Q3R4zY I'm from India so I have very limited options to purchase PSU. Your guidance will immensely help me. Thank you
