Apple Watch bends massively

blog-0143301001426277440.pngIs this the next "bendgate"? Images published by the California-based tech giant Apple indicate that the new Apple Watch might have a stability problem. Which would be a massive issue not only because of the high price of the device, but also because it's not the first time that an Apple product has it.

September 2014: Apple releases their new iPhone generation, which contains the 4.7" iPhone 6 and the 5.5" iPhone 6 Plus. Soon after the release, many costumers found that, especially the 6 Plus, may be damaged or even destroyed when subject to forces that you should not put on a smartphone. Since the number of damaged devices exceeded three, the whole issue developed into a scandal named "bendgate", used preferably by non-Apple-costumers. And now the problem surfaces again.

Clearly visible: In the left image, the band shows an elliptical shape, in the right one it is bent to a circle. Some reviewers even report that the band completely fell apart, but could temporarily be fixed by connecting the ends like shown in the images above. However, the watch body itself appears to be fine and not prone to bending.

The really critical thing here is that almost every watch seems to have this problem. Another bendgate appears inevitable at this point. Apple have not commented on the issue yet, but with the massive numbers of devices already produced, the Apple Watch is facing a bumby start.
