WEll we can see that our little green friend Shlouski has had an amazing day and this could be the start of him retaking the throne. But for him to maintain such vast productions rates is not cheap and it will be interesting to see how miker07 responds.
miker07 continues to sit on the throne with 2,759,803,985 points, an incredible total so far. It seems he is very much the man to beat and even when he is pretty safely at the top his production has not skipped a beat. Shlouski who is sitting in second did outproduce the soon to be king, but I fear it is too little, too late. He takes the rank of second with 2,621,547,686 points. Mxyzptlk has really carved out a little island of safety for himself, putting a good amount of distance behind him while not posing any challenge of those ahead. He takes the rank of third with 1,534,614,221 points. Igor_Sinelnikov is in fourth with 1,309,629,807 points, He is in danger of being knocked down yet another rank by Justaphf who is cruising along nicely taking the rank of fifth with 1,263,915,267 points.
_Rlocke could be looking to break into the top five before the end of the event but everything will have to go his way. He is the first person in the second group taking the rank of 6th with 1,092,474,977 points. Gorgon is in 7th place with 1,023,294,344 points and is looking pretty safe for the most part. Ben_F is sitting in 8th place with 966,560,594 and is pretty much certain to be our next billion point participant. LAR_Systems is continuing to enjoy capitalising on his recent gain, keeping the rank of 9th with 791,457,691 points. Finally we have the honourable gatekeeper, Oromit is taking up the post of rearguard with 737,596,431 points.
We now have less than tens days left of the event and it has to be said we are seeing numbers like never before. It has been insane just how much more we can put out as a team from only a couple of years ago. Where once hitting one billion points during an event was something that only the top person would manage right at the end of the event we are now in a place where the majority of the top 10 will reach. But it is our performance as a team as a whole, with fewer active users than usually we are still outperforming what we could have only dreamed off a few years ago.

I'm really impressed with the numbers we are seeing here, Thank you to all who are involved and who make this worthwhile every year.
