I might have something similar to you but I don't have a z170 board. I just posted a topic about it as well:

So the last two days when I turned my computer on it went to the BIOS instead of going into OS and my SSD wasn't showing up on the boot menu. However when I pressed the power button, like I normally would to put it to sleep, it went to sleep and when pressed again it came onto the login screen and everything seemed normal. Anyone have an idea why this is happening? Thanks EDIT: It seems someone else is having a similar problem:

That sucks! I don't know what they are legally required to do in this situation but I wonder how Asus would have responded if you return it to them. Looking at it again the part about them saying it's no longer produced while is true they are still selling it for £89.99 (and have it in stock) on their website. Maybe you could point that out to them and see how they respond?

I think both are pretty good, though I don't really know that much about power supplies. If you already have those two I think it might make more sense to put the ax 760 in the system thats more likely to be upgraded in the future.

I didn't get round to ordering one from overclockers UK and now they're all out, luckily I'm going to the US soon so I can probably pick one up
