You could use Duct tape around the fittings. -
Depends on you, if you can't stand your current GPU then buy 1080 now. If you wait now your might ended up waiting forever. Even if you wait for 1180 the pricing will be stupidly high especially true with Nvidia. Then what is next you wait for the price to drop? what if there is another wave of mining frenzy? Then you wait for the price to drop MSRP?

Regardless, Try cleaning the Graphics Card, Its always good to keep the computer clean. It does fix the issue then its all good, if it does not then its already broken to begin with.

It could be issue with over heating. Have you try cleaning the dust off the heat stink that likely choke the air flow and it's rather old card therefore it could be thermal paste has harden to a point it can't transfer heat anymore, Try replacing the thermal paste as well.

It may be little late but you try this purchasing this keyboard, definitely over kill. Some of the data centers I work at uses this kind steel keyboard. You probably can kill someone and stop bullets with it. It uses carbon tactile keys instead of steel keycaps over Silicon so that it would be less stressful on the fingers. How they feel? Something like blackberry's QWERTY phones but softer. (Still hard though compared to typical mechanical keyboard) http://www.directindustry.com/prod/key-technology-china-limited/product-68381-606056.html#product-item_658489 and Tenkeyless version (But I've never tried it before) http://www.directindustry.com/prod/key-technology-china-limited/product-68381-1560189.html

I feel you as a fellow Singaporean, over here some of the amps and speakers that is not "made in china" can go above $500 then standard price. I've brought parasound amps over here in Singapore at cut throat prices that is because retailers knows that they can get away with it as nobody else is selling them and if import from overseas there is a huge risk of damaging during shipping with no local warranty. But anyway you should try Vpost (link below). They have a mailbox/warehouse in US, that ships to Singapore at lower shipping cost and even ships items from retailers that does not support shipping to Singapore. But becareful some items you'll have to pay 7% extra GST. https://www.vpost.com.sg/amazon?gclid=CjwKEAjwp56wBRDThOSZ3vqGzmESJABjNaj91la3xFGJhxEZFL4KvokniEfHz89c58ngwAU7djrZsRoC6Jfw_wcB

yes, it will damage the driver coil over time. Before turning on/oif the amp make sure the volume is at Zero. If that does not work, call the service center. Something is wrong with the relay switch.

Is there REALLY a difference in sound quality between USB and SPDIF?
Eugene Yap replied to Profoundsoup's topic in Audio
I wouldn't agree on easier part. Optical cables breaks easily at sharp turns. If the connection tip gets too deep of a scratch it would not work anymore. And also usb repeaters are getting dirt cheap as well. -
Speakers>headphones. But that is just me. Speakers can give bigger impact and experience. And also the same reason as the guy above nothing weighting down on my head, no ear warmers, don't worry about cable mass. Just kick back, relax and flow with the speakers. However i do use headphone while watching movies pass 3am. Would't want to wake up my family as they are light sleepers.

They have warm and smooth sound. But lack of focus(not mistaken for clarity) and also lack of punchly bass.Honestly i think m50w suits your taste better
-
You know what? you earn a cookie. You can stay in your bubble. I don't want spend too much time debating on thatI know what I'm talking about. I own multiple speakers and amps. And I don't just own headphones only.
-
Didn't you mention this? Anyway those speakers are very old, You might ended up spending money restoring it and still not like the sound. You are better looking at other speakers.

That is a stupid statement and dumb logic. Its like saying "all cars perform the same weather its racing, cruising or having sex inside a car. There are no cars optimized for having sex inside. There are Sports/F1 cars made for racing on flat road, Rally cars made for racing on terrains, luxurious car made for cruising and jeep/hummer made for extremely hard terrains but that not does means cars cannot cross each other purpose, Just that cars would not perform well if anyone tries to do soo. No cars are made for having sex inside but you can try on any cars. Same concept goes to speakers.

GTX 780 Bricked by GTAV - Probably dead but any suggestions?
Eugene Yap replied to Gypopotamus's topic in Graphics Cards
Use it as paper weight or cup coaster.
