A company I worked for sometime stored dates like this. I always thought it was weird, but I was working with code from the early 2000s, so I thought it was the norm back then. I thought maybe it was an easy way to do date comparisons. I should ask some of my old co-workers if they had issues with this yet. Lol

Hello, I am having issues with my setup. The DRAM LED light is on. I tried re-setting the RAM, only using 1 stick, plugging it into different slots, etc. I also update to the latest BIOS & cleared the CMOS MB: MSI MPG X570 GAMING PLUS RAM: Corsair Vengeance LPX 32GB 3600 CPU: Ryzen 7 5700G Not sure what else to do. Anything suggestions are welcome! Edit: Solved. I took out the CPU and put it back in and that fixed it.

Windows Software Raid 5 - Files disappearing
NoobsWeStand replied to NoobsWeStand's topic in Storage Devices
Sorry for the late response, There was nothing notable in the event viewer. I ran a sfc scan for each drive they were clean. My guess is that I had write caching enabled on the drives and there was a brief power outage. I rebuilt the windows storage space, and restored from a backup. -
Windows Software Raid 5 - Files disappearing

Storage spaces. I have backups, but not a list of files. It is all media files from blue rays/dvds. -
Hello, I've setup a windows raid 5 with 3 3TB WD Blue HHDs. It's been working fine for the most part, but I've been experiencing issues with it randomly deleting files. I've scanned all of the hard drives individually with WD's tools, but there was no issues reported. Also windows reports no issues with the drives either. They are about 2.5 years old now. Windows Write caching was enabled on the hard drives. Not sure what the issue is. Should I abort with WD Blues and change to NAS hard drives, or is it Windows messing up?

Great movie. My only problem was the math jargon that iron Man spat out when he was calculating if the time travel thing would work. Isn't an inverted mobius strip just itself?

Hello, After reading up online, I have discovered that my aging 1050ti laptop cannot support the Oculus rift because of nvidia optimus and that the intel graphics and nvidia graphics share the hdmi port. I am looking for a new laptop that could do VR(specifically the oculus), but I am not sure that any laptop with a 1060 could do it (because of the nvidia optimus thing) My budget is around $1000-$1500

Hello I recently bought the Inspiron 15 1700. I put in an extra 8gb of ram, and a 2tb hard drive Yesterday, I installed the new nvidia drivers (388.13) and whenever I put my computer to sleep, and woke it up again there would be a random assortment of pixels, and a pixellated block that was my mouse If that doesn't make sense, here is a video, and a picture: https://www.dropbox.com/s/93zcv6widicsdkj/IMG_20171101_144421.jpg?dl=0 https://www.dropbox.com/s/ybt34552rhnn6h1/VID_20171101_144448.mp4?dl=0 The computer seems fine - I can log in and even restart/sleep/shutdown my computer with some mouse guess work Putting it to sleep and waking it up again does not help either The computer has never done this before. So I tried downgrading to 388.00, and got the same results. I just tried 387.92 and same results. I am not sure what driver I was on before I upgraded Any suggestions? Edit: I fixed it. Contacted Dell support, and updated my bios. That has seemed to have fixed all my problems

Hello! I searched all over, and could not find any replacement fans for the Gigabyte P35K Currently, the fans are making a grinding noise, and there are no clear screws to take them apart, so we cannot clean them and lubricate I was wondering if there was somewhere where I could order them online -Thanks
