Wint3rSh0ck's Achievements

  1. Maybe the distinction between "good in a, better than average I play a round of CoD every so often" and "I'm a neckbeard who doesn't leave my room" wasn't clear in the voters heads. I refuse to believe good, in a I can make a sandwich but I'm not a chef kind of way, at video games isn't at least just neutral
  2. Next thing people will lose their shit about is the camera app accessing the camera or the phone app accessing your contacts. When this was huge I made a list of Apps on my phone that had the same permissions. List of Apps That Can Access Your Camera and Microphone [ ] Angry Birds: Star Wars 2 and Go! (camera only) [ ] Stock camera app [ ] Google Chrome [ ] Dialer (camera only) [ ] Facebook [ ] Google Play services [ ] Google + [ ] Google Hangouts [ ] Google Keep (microphone only) [ ] Messenger [ ] Phone [ ] Screencast (CM 11s exclusive) [ ] Shazam (microphone only) [ ] SIM Toolkit (microphone only) [ ] Snapchat [ ] Sound Recorder (microphone only) [ ] Android System UI [ ] Ultimate Guitar Tabs (microphone only) [ ] CM11s Torch App (camera only) [ ] YouTube (camera only)
  3. That camera! I'm a bit of a megapixel race sucker, so it's nice to see a non Nokia offering coming to the table pushing the boundaries. As for dbrand, I've liked them ever since they started doing awesome unique designs for MKBHD, so it's great to see another reviewer I like doing collaborations with them.
  4. I've got to say my favourite feature is that software. It really does strike a good balance between vanilla and uber l33t trikked out Watch_Dogzzz Android builds. As far as skins go, it's up there with Sense 6 and miles ahead of Crayola designed TouchWiz! It could be tweaked to make better use of that balls to the wall pixel density, but other than that, I'm a huge fan! Cheers Linus, you're a legend for organising this.
  5. Unrelated to the point at hand, but does anyone else find how terrible the PRISM slides look laughable? I've seen better slide layouts by 16 year olds in high school.
  6. Don't think we're quite ready for 4K gaming just yet. I think I'll be interested when we've got single core GPU's that can handle it
  7. Lol, only a half of the second video would count. iPhone 3/3G's aren't even on the drop down menu for the first 100 application. I want to see some reaction videos of the muppets who find out they ruined the phone they're still on contract for all for nothing.
  8. I quite liked the pictures until I was hands on with it. Have you seen one in the flesh?
  9. Saw an M8 in the flesh the other day at a Telstra store. Is anyone else with me in thinking they look pretty ugly?
  10. I'd buy the shit out of that. I guess coming from an iPhone 4 and GS3 I'd have to get used to that size though. I guess it's where all phones are going these days. These be the days of the phablet
  11. I'd imagine enough goes to charity anyway. They'd spend the money doing the same thing, whereas with a few million, Musk might be able to put a world changing idea in to practice
  12. Was going to say, I doubt a single 290X has the grunt to really justify 8GB of VRAM. You'd have to be a rich motherfucker to get this setup though O_O
