Microsoft makes it even harder to change your default browser
bcredeur97 replied to AMDKilla's topic in Tech News
I liked MS Edge when it first came out, I kinda hate it now though. I appreciate that it uses the chromium engine, but I hate all the crap MS has added to it. I just want a plain browser to start. -
Apple’s new “Why Upgrade - See What You’re Missing” page

it's the best iPhone I ever bought. Still works great 6.5 years later (yes, I bought it on launch day!) xD They increased the price to $1000 and my reaction literally was: "guess I can keep this phone for longer!" But I will say that's not the play, the play is to buy a REALLY NICE 2 year old phone for about half original price (maybe a smidge more) and keep it for 4 years. I think that's the best balance! (almost like a car?) -

pretty much. I love how they don't have my iPhone X in the list. Guess apple thinks I don't need to upgrade -
Thanks guys! We'll just get a couple tubes of MX-4

Have a little project at work coming up where I'll have to socket 18 LGA 3647 CPU's (Xeon Gold 6150's). I'm realizing we'll need quite a lot of thermal paste for that. So I'm wondering what is the best thing to get that you can buy in bulk that's relatively inexpensive? We don't need anything crazy, it just needs to work. Those CPU's aren't that hot haha I was thinking too maybe if we could get sheets of the thermal pad material that would be a lot easier and cleaner, I'm just not sure what to get or where to get it!

I’ll just order a G203 and call it a day. Don’t feel like changing batteries and I’m not /that much/ of a gamer. And considering you Can pick one up for like $20 I feel like it’s hard to go wrong. It’s very cheap to replace! i rather spend money on my homelab xD i thought about the G305, but batteries. I know they last a while but nothing worse than having a dead battery and not having replacements around one day, then you can’t do anything lol thanks guys!

My Mionix Naos 7000 of many years has seen better days. the rubberized coating is doing what rubberized coatings do, the scroll wheel hasn't "Clicked" in a while, and now it won't scroll at all. Think I got my money's worth... maybe it's time to replace it, lol. What's the go-to mouse that isn't too flashy? (I rocked this thing with the lights off). I just want a /good/ mouse. The Naos 7000 was also probably too big so I wouldn't mind something a little smaller, even if it takes some getting used to after all these years lol. Not looking for the cheapest thing, or the most expensive. Just want something that works well and will last

I have a lenovo laptop with a Realtek 8822CE that refuses to work with WPA 3. But that is Wireless-AC Although, It also has issues sometimes with wifi in general, so I guess it's just not the best adapter. I have seen other issues in the past, but that's all I have that's specific for ya

WPA3 in my experience causes weird bugs on some devices too. And when you encounter those, not really much you can do other than change/upgrade that device, or disable WPA3. Until that goes away, is it really worth deploying?

I want to try those audi laser headlights that are banned here(still I think?) It's not worth $3k per housing, but it seemed like a great idea But yeah, classic halogen bulbs were the best. I was totally fine with the bulbs my corolla had (and miata has). THe touareg has HID's and they are ok. Better than LED's for me. Not sure about other people.
