Maybe. Not sure.

Honestly they're much more difficult for me to tackle because there are soooo many options that without spending a fortune I can't try them all, so there's no real way for me to get a complete picture.

that's why their a budget side of it all. I don't know if you have done them already but you should unbox the SE-AE1000, the HD681b which are relatively cheap, and recommended by our Audio subforum. For mid range there's the ATH-AD700x, DT 990 pro's, Custom One Pro's, and ATH M50's

what happened to buying a product, using it for a review/unboxing and then selling it on LTT Store? That way you get to try a bunch of things without spending too much.

They'd still be selling at a loss I'm sure.

What do the premium "audiophile" wireless headsets go for? I haven't personally tried them out, but my friends have a Sennheiser wireless set up at their house in multiple rooms, I should really try it out vs my Sennheiser 558s ..

There are complications. It's not that easy to integrate a shipping system unfortunately and we just can't afford to be manually processing every order.

We are looking for a solution.

There are a few people that would pay extra for something touched by Linus. For the rest they can sell at cost+shipping and not lose money.

perhaps work out a deal with ncix to sell as an open box item or something? Flyguy is right btw, i'm sure some people wouldn't mind covering the shipping cost. You can always try with a couple of products and if it doesn't work out, go from there.

what about the Logitech G930?

that is a pretty old product and I will be shocked if they don't release a refresh this year. also in the time that the g930 has been released logitech went and acquired ultimate ears. I look forward to what new products are born of this meeting of companies.

so why do a review of something that you know (might not know/might have heard) will be phased out of production

I don't think it's the cost of shipping as much it is getting proper quotes. Especially when it comes to international shipping, as it varies wildly and the forum is pretty spread out.

I have a small business and it can be a bit of a pain finding shipping quotes and I deal just within North America.

One solution would be flat rate shipping within Canada and the US, but that would leave worldly people out.

It is better to go US/CA only from a business standpoint. Especially with a company like this.

a lot of websites have a thing where you enter your address and it estimates shipping costs.. you can do that and that will be added to your total
